About time somebody did a review on this classic! I wish they did a more creepy and more horror like version of this game similar to Carrion but more fleshed out in 3D.

You did very well to finish this game , and this was a great review. You have a good voice that made this video very enjoyable to watch, really chill and relaxing. I first played this game on a Sega compilation on the Xbox, it was unique, I did enjoy it , but I never got far, I do share the same sentiment on this game as you displayed in this review. Lovely video. 😊

I remember playing this game on a knockoff genesis remake, AtGames Genesis Arcade Motion. I never got very far but always had fun trying. This, Bonanza Bros and Crackdown were great

The Ooze is the game I think of when I think about Genesis. It's so strange. So 90s. So Sega Genesis.

I never played this yet. I remember reading about it in magazines back then but never had the opportunity to try it. Truly a unique premise for a game and I respect it for that.

What hurts games like The Ooze is the lack of saving, unless you emulate and use savestates. Finishing this game 100% is a ballbusting experience.

This would be a fascinating remake! There's the game Carrion which is pretty close, but imagine a top down free roaming version?

I felt like I was drowning in puns! I swear, this team absolutely loves unreasonable trial and error game play. It is what made me bounce of Comix Zone pretty quickly, and I am sure I'd bounce off this. I never liked trial and error game play even as a kid.

Excellent reviews as always sir. A romhack that changes dmg values would really turn this game into a much more enjoyable experience for many but as it is it's just such an insane slow moving creep along to survive game. Glad to have watched you suffer through it though!

The Genesis is interesting because there are so many games where you want them to be good so bad but get held back for frustrating reasons.

beavis and butthead. the open world structure is so inviting but the game is so cryptic and unforgiving

Dont think so yet, but it was included on the Genesis Mini 2 console or unlockable on Sonic Mega Collection (Gamecube, PS2, Xbox)

0:15 Yep. I owned the game and never got far in it. It's definitely unique. Also there's just something about the color palette in this game that I do not like.
