You always take the words right out of my mouth. I love that you linked Bianca's video. Every day my heart aches when I think about Puerto Rico and what it's going through. I think about what I can do with my education and work to get enough money or skills to do something to help. I don't know if I'll ever get there beyond educating myself, raising awareness, and donating what I can. I had to join the Army just to get out of poverty and pay for school, so we'll see. But I wish people who are already rich and powerful put an ounce of thought into helping the places they're inadvertently gentrifying and claim to love to so much

I didn't grow up in the Puerto Rican culture. *So when I say this, I don't mean any disrespect.* I would prefer for them not to move to the island. The island and the citizens have a lot to deal with, and don't need anyone else who is not there to benefit them. A lot of PR's issues are caused by our mainland Government. I'd love for this new administration to do something, that would improve the quality of life on the island.

People talk about way Ricans don't go into business,,well to give a PR license to open a restaurant in his country is crazy,that's a reason is crazy food trucks,cause the foreign owners of restaurants hotels,don't want government to give permits to locals,the same to the agriculture,Puerto Ricans have tried to sale there own frozen chickens and the chicken industry from USA make it hare for them to grow dy reducing there prices and and the PR government don't protect the PR interest,so how you goin to get rich wen they don't even live the prices the same,well that's the reason that Dominican republic have Rich citizens and PR is a slave,and I was born in USA!!! Just in case,the future of PR is going to get wost!

This where Puerto Ricans should be more business minded. Ricans on the island should be juicing the Paul bros and making money. Rich people moving to island shouldn't be a looked as a negative, it should be looked as a business opportunity. BUSINESS is what brings people of poverty.

Puerto Ricans, YOU HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MONETIZE THIS!!! If people are there with money, figure out how to make money off them. Government is not going to save you and lift anyone out of poverty. Figure out how to make money off of these Rich people. No one is going to save you, you have to save yourself. Poor people will still be poor if these Rich people leave. Learn to recognize a potential opportunity and capitalize off of it. PUERTO RICANS HAVE TO BECOME MORE BUSINESS MINDED!!!!

Puerto Rico has a murder rate 5 times that of the mainland US. Half the people live off the government. The power goes out constantly including now with striking workers. But the real monster is a guy who did something that security told him was okay and numerous people also did. The real enemies to Puerto Rico are people who put cash in the banks, buy property, employ professionals and pay more taxes to the island than 99.5% of people on the island. Those are the bad guys. The heroes are the people who bitch on the internet about those more successful in between cashing stimmy and welfare checks. I love these videos and comments that act like Jake and Logan Paul need permission to live in Puerto Rico. It is part of the US. Anyone who wants to move their has that right as Americans. Just ask the six million people who left Puerto Rico for the mainland.

Not really. The US has almost non-existent crime outside of inner cities and maybe a few rural places with tweakers. Basically no city is safe in PR. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't lived in both places.
