bro unfortunately he just got dropped after the first game because the chief selector inzi supported The Parchi Imam

He was playing BAD and that's why he was dropped and it was completely justified. His technique is very bad but on pitches where the ball doesn't do much, he can be a very destructive force because he has something that everybody in Pak batting is lacking that is ability to hit sixes at will, powerful striker , counter attacking player. Imam is a technically sound batsman and his selection isn't "parchi". Anyone who knows cricket knows he is a talented deserving player , however he has problems that he needs to work out (like Short Ball, and not throwing away his wicket once he's set etc) before he can make a comeback into the team. All in all Fakhar is like Sehwag (technically lacking but explosive) and we need him right now but in future we need to develop openers like Rohit Sharma who can hit and are also technically very sound. Great innings by Fakhar today though , single handedly won this match.

​​​​@@homebird4765 Imam career strike rate in ODIs is 82, its a sin as an opener. 😂 If today he was playing the match I doubt he could have hit one six, even in previous matches whenever he tried to go over the rope he did miss-hit the ball and went out. Fakhar is an impact player, whenever he starts well, he takes away the game from the opponents. After first match of Abdullah they just had to change opening pair by re-adding Fakhar and benching a guy that cannot provide a start and always plays run a ball, they should have looked at the impact and not average of a player, especially in Indian pitches as we had already three technically solid batsman in which only one (Abdullah) can play a long inning and play according to the situation while creating an impact. Whenever we won or lost, Imam never had a great impact on the match and made the situation difficult for other batters in the team unless the pitch was a tricky one. 😅 I always taught from the first match of Abdullah as an opener that Imam doesn't deserve to be there as he is far better and capable of him!

We all are talking about Fakhar Zaman, and rightly so but this world cup has also witnessed a young player who I would like to call the silent assassin who can slice up the opposing bowlers in such a fantastic way and that is Rachin. Boy this guy if he continues in this way will become a superstar in white ball cricket.

Fakhar missed his double hundred

yes I wanted Fakhar to score a double century instead of rain being a spoilsport. Sodhi would've def conceded over 100 and break Shaheen's record. Maybe Boult too. Shaheen was unlucky that rain kept his record intact.

As for what could have happened, couple of quick wickets and it’s a different ball game. I am sure the entire Pakistan camp, including Fakhar Zaman are very happy with the well deserved win.
