I know! Ever since I saw a documentary about a guy who murdered a woman and transported her body in a suitcase and passed so many people in the street before throwing it under some bushes. Theres cctv footage of a stranger passing him and the suitcase and it's so creepy because they had no idea there was a body in the suitcase. It's something I always think about. Its creepy

If anyone is interested in forensics, there's a book by Angela Gallop, who actually tested the cargo shorts in this case and she has a whole chapter about that process and working with the police. I thought this case sounded so familiar and then I realised a lot of it was covered in this book - it's called When the Dogs Don't Bark and it covers some really interesting cases from the perspective of how forensics helped to finally solve them!

Yes, she enjoys it, but it's still a job and that doesn't mean it isn't stressful. Not sure about outside of America; but we have “common law marriage” here (depending on state) which means if you’ve lived with each other x amount of time your considered legally married in the eyes of the law. Also many people don’t marry legally anymore it’s usually “this is my husband; this is my wife” could be long term significant other. Just some insight :)

I just recently learned that my SO cheated on me and I've been spiraling into a depression and just feeling messed up. Omg my grandparents were camping next door to the Dixons. I remember my nan telling me this story a couple of years ago and thought the Dixon story sounded familiar. My nan and grandad were interviewed on crime watch, apparently it was also considered that the IRA had attacked the Dixons. Poor people I hope they have found peace

not sure if ur doing active cases right now but an interesting one is happening in Belfast, a man has attacked 5 women (2 punched/3 stabbed) on monday night, and he’s wearing a bunny mask (locals are calling him the belfast bunny) he might attack again if not caught soon :(

I always love that you take the time to research and tell us what kind of people the victims were in their lives. It's something that's missing in a lot of true crime tellings, and if it is there, it's used to draw emotion rather than celebrate and remember the wonderful people that were lost.

The way this man was acting, is SO similar to my ex husband that its almost creepy.. He too was so out going, social, "street smart" and charismatic to Everyone around us that when i finally told some of my closest friends about the abuse that was going on at home, they basically acused me of lying. They just couldnt believe that this talkative, good mannered, funny man would actually be able to do something like that. It literally took him hitting me in the face while one of those friends was at our house and her seeing that, before others also started to listen me... He also turned out to be a thief and i had no idea about the things he had been doing while we were married. Something like this will make you question youre faith in humans and humanity in general..
