However, there are a lot of instances in our lives when our perception of the world is different, from how we know the world to be from a scientific perspective. This can be seen in the Dream, in Neurosis and in Festival for example. This video will explain the two different views of the universe: The Sacred and the Profane.

Psychology just like modern science is naively positivistic (scientism). It fails to engage with the Otherness that lies at the heart of subjectivity; it falls prey to the illusion that the human subject can be approached as a consistent, self-enclosed identity.

I totally agree! Something where I would have to critique especially Freud for example. To say that a dream or action always means the same for people, and that something that happened to you in your past always produces some twisted fetish over your mother and so on. I like the way Nietzsche sees this way better: “All things are subject to interpretation. Whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.” - Nietzsche -
