This is an incredible video, I cannot thank you enough. I'm from Chile, South America; so access to rhythm games is VERY scarce. By playing a lot of osu, I started to stumble upon these BMS songs and since the information about it is entirely in Korean, I could not learn more nor dive into this rabbit hole. I wish Spanish speaking kids could have more access to these kind of classic rhythm games

Hmm… not too bad for someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about. LR2 memory leak (most significant one at least xd) is avoidable by disabling song preview btw, and also there is a patch to fix this. You made lr2 sound a bit worse than it actually is… Non-adjustable resolution is because it’s actually really old, like 2008 or something, and originally used old directx like 8 or maybe even 7. I think fixed resolution was a common thing for those. Why wasn’t the feature to change resolution added with the updates and migration to dx9 is a different question, however…

Well...Lunatic Rave 2 has been around for God knows how long and considering it's abandonware and the amount of issues it has - it'd say it is still pretty much the easiest BMS player to get into out there...which isn't a good thing in the slightest. While beatoraja runs great and its performance is fantastic, I'd say it is the least intuitive and the most overwhelming in terms of setting it up. Migrating from LR2 to beatoraja is a nightmare and most players just got used to how LR2 worked and learned how to prevent crashes (disable previews, no videos as background, japanese locale). I wish I could just set up my speed just like in LR2, but I can't because beatoraja's speed and lane cover numbers don't make sense to me at all and there aren't really any proper guides to how to set it up just like LR2.

i guess if you're coming from LR2 and have to migrate to beatoraja then i can see how some of the differences might be confusing there *is* however a very good guide for setting up beatoraja so i'd argue it's easier to get into than LR2 nowadays github.com/wcko87/beatoraja-english-guide/wiki

@@the_crescent_moon I'm sorry but I can be really stupid sometimes. Seeing things (videos) does a much better job for me than just reading about them without seeing how exactly it is done. As in what buttons I should press and how much, because these are also kind of different in beatoraja.

yea this is how i kinda felt when i tried to swap over beatoraja from LR2, i just gave up and went back to LR2 bc it's what im used to.

thanks for the tutorial, still wont be playing rythm games LMAO also great to see that you have above 2800fps in Qwilight + I recommend adding chapters to your video 10/5 would double it and give it to the next person
