I was on the drumline in school. I enjoyed every minute of it. If I'd gotten removed from the drumline I would've just fessed up and said yes it was me even before he got to the point of removing this kid. The kid should have known it was inappropriate. I wouldn't have jeopardized myself.

Great, now he ruined the rest of that guy's high school experience. Being in a band could've been the reason to choose a future career in the musical arts and guess who won't be getting that chance. Some of these rules and judgments are just redundant, and useless towards the education of these students. I demand a form of transportation to the planet Mars, and start life anew there.

Mr. Harris seems like a good and cool principal. He seems like a nice guy. I don't think the student should have been removed from the band for what he did. I understand why public schools don't allow kissing. Kissing is not the kind of offense that warrants being removed from the band.

Sounds like my school. My boyfriend (of eight months) and I got ISS (in school suspension) for our lunch period because I pecked him at the end of the day before we went to class. Our principal flipped her lid and got so much attitude with us about it. The teacher that wrote us up actually lied and said that she gave us a warning the day before, which she most certainly did not. But you want to know what's funny? You have couples making out in stairwells and behind lockers, but they are allowed because it's not "open". Just a few days ago I got in trouble again but for simply holding his arm. One hand in his hand, one hand on his arm, and I had my head rested on his shoulder no where near his face. This was during a lunch period, so we were standing by the lockers in front of the cafeteria. This male principal was all the way down the hallway and goes, "HEY. HONEY COME HERE." the entire lunch line is dead quiet and I was mad because I found it inappropriate for the principal not only to call me "honey" but to scream down a hallway. When me and my boyfriend walked over the principal got close to me and towered over me. (This guy is like 6'8' and I'm only 5'3') and goes, "I do not want to see that PDA all the way across the hallway. Do you understand me?" All I did was roll my eyes and take a step back. He then looked at my boyfriend and yells at him, "GET TO CLASS." to which my boyfriend goes, "This is my class." The principal was obviously I guess "salty" and then turned to me and yelled at me some more. He just repeated what he said the first time. I just walked away and my boyfriend followed me and out of the corner of my eye I saw the principal stare us down till we went through the lunch line. There was really no need for that.

He got kicked out of the band because not only was it PDA in the bathroom, but also he was making up excuses/lies as well. Mr. Harris said in Unhappy Meal that "the more work I put into it, the more different the consequences are going to be", meaning he was aware of students lying their way out in the series. In fact, half of these episodes have the students lying/makeup excuses until the principal cracks down on them on the midway point.
