The quickest way to get a smile that you absolutely hate? I see this too often, patients get the cheap option or the one size fits all factory produced products. Then they come in to see me as soon as possible to try to get them off. Why is this? Firstly, they do not know what to expect when they get the veneers. There are no mock UPS, no trial smiles so they can see what they're getting. There is no option to choose what shapes they prefer, or even a smile design. There is no option to change them when they return from the manufacturer as the final product that has been made. You get what you're given. These are popular because they're marketed as no prep options and they are very cheap. What often my patients find is that they're shocked by how big and thick they are and how bulky and fake they then look.
