In this video a muslim calls ‪@GodLogicApologetics‬ to try to answer the question "what is the injeel" once he learns its the same bible we have today he switches to the quran being a supreme authority over previous scriptures but gets quickly refuted.

Surah 18 verse32 Allah says the parable of the vineyard is from Mathew. Surah48 verse29 allah says the parable about the sower of the seed is in the book of Mark. . ALALI KHAN explains the parables. It’s shocking that the original uncorrupted versions of the Torah and Gospels have just completely disappeared from history especially as the are supposed to confirm mo’s prophethood!! What is even more unbelievable is that we still have a different version of the Torah and gospels that are, surprise surprise called the exact same names and there’s masses of historical evidence of those.

There's massive historical evidence those manuscripts were changed, a fact confirmed by both Rabbis and Biblical scholars or basically, everyone. The original uncorrupted versions disappearing do confirm his prophethood, lol. There being no other authentic revealed scripture that anyone even has except Muhammad, of course is convenient. Ibn Ishaq, who wrote the oldest biography of the prophet of Islam, quotes John <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="923">15:23</a>-<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="961">16:1</a> and says that it is taken from the Gospel (Injeel) of Jesus Al Masih, which the apostle John wrote down for Jesus’ followers, without a word of it being corrupted or unreliable! Ibn Ishaq affirms the apostle John as the author of the fourth gospel.

Christians actually do the same as they use the Torah, the scripture of the Jews and that Jesus followed to confirm Jesus. It doesn't actually defend their religion or scripture though since the two testaments don't actually agree but Christians still take it as their own and claim it's from God, the same God they say is of the New Testament (though the Jews don't agree). Just like the Old Testament confirmed Jesus, so did that book or previous scripture confirm Muhammad. That's why they were to judge by their actual scripture to find the truth of what Muhammad was saying. After his revelation though, the Injeel, the Torah, or any book before that was not needed. God completed His favor and made Muhammad's revelation perfect for mankind to follow after that time.

I would not be able to debate muslims. When they believe the quran is the divine authority from God, but it was written by some Muslim(they do have different versions) but refuse our Gospel as the divine word of God because people whose name we know wrote it. Did they expect Jesus to sit and write it? But that does not apply to Muhammad

You mean written by scribes just like the Bible? There's not one gospel and not of Jesus. There are many gospels and not all of them are in the many Bibles today. Only the ones that were chosen for political reasons, survived and were not lost. And they were not written by known people. Any Biblical scholar can tell you they were written anonymously. There is no record of who the authors were (and they can also tell you some parts are embellishments; (i.e. invented stories, lies) like most of the gospel of John, they have Jesus fulfilling prophecies that didn't exist (Matthew), contradict the Torah, history, each other etc) The book itself says the scribes would change the manuscripts; a confirmed fact (Tikkunei Soferim). They can't be debated when what they say is confirmed to be true and no one can disprove them. Not even Biblical scholars say the Gospels are the divine word of God. Who would attribute all those mistakes to God?

These titles were added sometime before the end of the first century, prompted most likely by the presence of two or more gospels that needed to be distinguished. Bill Mounce: It would have been nice if there were ancient publishers that had statements of authorship and dates of writing, but there weren't. Rather, we must rely on scant historical evidence, but in the case of the Gospels the evidence is not really that scant. We can comfortably believe that the traditional authorship of the four Gospels is accurate, and that means Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were in a place to know who Jesus was, what he did and what he taught. The designation that you find in your New Testament, such as "the Gospel According to Matthew" are the results of late-second-century scholarship attempting to identify the authors of words that had no identification. No evangelist indicated who he was. The original copies of the New Testament books have long since disappeared. Even the true identity of their authors is to a large extent a matter of debate. The time gap between the original accounts of the events and today's surviving manuscripts is a period of over 200 to 300 years. Before this time no written witnesses are available to establish the authenticity of Christian claims. With the exception, that is, of tiny papyrus fragments from the Gospel of John (three verses) and (so its is claimed) from the Gospel of Mark. Because of their fragmentary nature, they are of no great value in establishing the texts of even these two Gospels, let alone the New Testament as a whole.
