This was awesome, thanks for your great work and documenting such a rich culture. My wife family is from Trinidad and practice the Orisha tradition. It was refreshing seeing other west African ethnic groups traditions survive

Adupe lopolopo to all who sacrificed to ensure the passing of these traditions to the current generation of Alkebu-lanese that arrived in the Americas either captured or free. The Rada/Dangbe Comme community of Belmont is a heritage of a free people that entered the Caribbean and maintained their traditions. Thanks Ryan for your investment in documenting these precious moments and time. Thanks to all the custodians who have shared their family traditions freely with the world.

My great great grandmother use to keep Rada otherwise known as nation dance. This is something I am familiar with. We are from South Trinidad, La Brea to be exact. I love the documentary please make another one this is my culture.
