Knowing how to use a vacuum brake and being able to control braking distance is an art form . It’s a skill that only comes with time and experience. And any engine driver will tell you that.

Where is the German built electric loco getting its power from? Can see there are o/head power lines but at no point do they appear in contact with the loco pantograph… Or does it have an auxiliary battery or diesel engine where power lines are absent?

the miniature railway is called south downs light railway it a 10.25 gauge and will be open to the public again in march next year
