I don’t care if she’s her mother, that woman has no right trying to defend or justify predatory behavior. Moreover, the fact that a 19 -year-old and 13-year-old are “best friends” is problematic enough, so it’s exceptionally cringe to hear a grown woman publicly call this dynamic a “friendship” like it’s normal.
