I remember a video in where a man in a bear suit shoots and kills the Crazy Frog. It was an ad for a British show called A Bear's Tail, a spinoff of a sketch comedy show called Bo' Selecta! I watched it back in 08 and remember being both traumatized and amused.

Not crazy frog related but after a few years i bought my large doll lalaloopsy crumbs sugar cookie off amazon bc nostalgia hits hard and i truly have to say i rlly missed these dolls allot , i remember when i only had ember flicker flame and coral sea shells when i was little so its fun having one of them ^^

Man, I pretty much grew up with this thing, I even had the game, though I didn't play much of it. When I think "distant childhood nostalgia", I think Crazy Frog. The early 2000s CGI, the songs, the way it reminded me of some PS1 games for some reason, the music videos, it just screams semi-distant childhood memories, I love it. I think my parents showed it to me on their old laptop when I was like 5.

My first intro to Crazy Frog was when they would play the axel f music video all the time on Cartoon Network. I believe it was when they qere transitioning from the res background commercials to the real city ones (or vice versa icr) just seeing that video brings me back to my brother's old room watching cn with him. I can't believe i have sentimental nostalgia from this thing

I used to have both a Crazy Frog and Gummibär plushy and used to adore them back in the day. But then I had some weird thing happen where I snapped and hated the both, turning into a really really REALLY bad fear of them. Like every time I’d see or hear them I’d start screaming and crying, paralysed with fear and terror, having a massive anxiety attack because of it. My fear of Crazy Frog had died down a lot, now I can just chill but my fear of Gummibär still triggers me into spiralling into an anxiety attack unfortunately, so I was basically watching this with caution, haha 😅

I never really liked him as a kid, but I do distinctly remember growing up with a keyring turned figure of the Jamster green dragon, can’t even find any pictures of it online, it only exists in my memory, no doubt it’s in a box in the loft (attic) somewhere, I feel like I got it in Spain when on holiday in the 2000s or somewhere, I’m from the UK so all the characters were inescapable back then 😂 also that lost Art Game, it’s absolutely based on or uses the same code for Paint By DS, a game I have so much nostalgia for, I remember that UI and those coloured square selectors so much!

Did you know that just today, in order to celebrate the release of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Netflix actually teamed up with Crazy Frog to make a crossover music video?! It featured scenes from the movie, but Crazy Frog is edited in, and also joins the mayhem. It's really cool seeing the weird guy finally interact with the song's namesake!

That’s so crazy in Australia Axel F was 100% shown on our government owned broadcasting network, the ABC, on a segment called Rage that just played music videos late at night and early in the morning. Like I fully remember seeing the music video for Axel F on rage quite early in the morning as a young child in like 2005. So crazy that america didn’t get to experience it until like four years later

I remember seeing the original uncensored Crazy Frog ad for the first time. I was watching TV with my nan so it was pretty awkward lol. The Crazy Frog really was EVERYWHERE in the UK. It played during every single ad break, sometimes 2 or 3 times in the same break. There was no escaping it.

it haunts me that i remember so vividly that the crazy frog was the mascot of a local toy store in my country, and to this day idk if it was a collective hysteria because some people I have asked abt this look at me like i have black mold in my house or something and some others (like my cousin and two school friends) do remember it as well 😭

Idk whats wrong with my brain but in 6th grade Crazy Frog AND Gummibar were my thing! I never found the Gummi CD but I'd steal ny cousin's Crazy Frog CD and play the acapella track over and over and over. I also remember the shorts on CN and wondering why his peepee hanging out. Good times!

You had to be there at a certain age. Part of the reason kids and teenagers in the 00's liked it so much is BECAUSE it was overhated by adults. It became, quite literally, an easily accessable countercultural thing in kid culture as it peaked. All you had to do was download it and you could wind up anyone over 18 at the click of a button, and when you're 11 and want mischief, confrontation and boundary pushing, that's just magic.

@@Snaggle-ToothedDog something about their music makes me feel car sick even when I’m not in a car. I think it might be by association cos they used to be on the radio a lot while I was growing up, especially when I was in the car feeling car sick, but also something about the way all their music sounds also makes me dizzy. It’s nothing truly malicious and I have nothinggg against their fans either, it’s more of a personal in joke of mine to hate em.

I had this old crazy frog mcdonalds toy that was like a tiny green speaker that played the song. Parts of it sound like the Axel F song, but other parts sound like a completely different song. And I wonder if that can be found anywhere. I found some videos of the toy from youtube, but I'd like to hear a high quality version of the song one day...

Random non important correction but it's my special interest so I was hoping I could share but a moped is actually a small motorbike that builds its starting momentum to turn the engine over with human powerd peddles like a bicycle. What you showed (I know it's the first result on images because of the commen misconception) is actually a scooter! The difference being that scooters have a starter motor like a normal motorbike and will have a chair like seating position and a leg sheild on the front! No hate at all intended, I just wanted to take the excuse to nerd out lol

I'm haunted by the two tweets that I thought was from their account but was from a fake account from all the way back in 2009, where the last two posts that it had was him getting swine flu and clamoring to go to Paris, and apparently the account died after the official account found it in November 29th, 2021, and it just up and vanished the next day, like bringing it out in the sun vaporized it. I also missed if it was mentioned in the video, but they got in trouble for their production company trying to sell NFTs, it being pushed back until it was finally free in late 2023, and the twitter account (which is still alive as of May) being able to decry crypto.
