I agree that Damien was robbed stealing the idol didn’t exactly make sense since Julia didn’t benefit from it a lot, along with the little rivalry the two had (in the episode where he was booted) could’ve really gone far into the final 3

season 2 was so good but the lack of rajbow interaction was so sad 😭😭

Your idea with Damien coming back as a Gen 1 fanboy was actually really good, I hadn't even considered that idea. I think that would've made Damien a lot more interesting this season, since they decided to delete the intelligence he had in season 1.

Although I did like the season, my main issue is that it essentially focused on just a handful of the cast. Characters like Nichelle and Axel were shafted and had minor plots. While characters like Damien made it far and seemed to be doing well but were overshadowed by the whole Priya Caleb thing. I just wish that if we do get a third season with this cast that the characters like Priya and Caleb go out early so that the ones with less screen time get to shine on their own.

And also, another issue with this season is a lot of Julia's villainous deeds are done in the background. Even Mal in All Stars did things on screen despite being the worst antagonist in Total Drama history. The only notable devious thing Julia did on screen was manipulate Caleb and Priya in the memory challenge. Which is why I was glad Wayne won because Caleb was a hot mess and Julia was an underwhelming threat.

I actually liked Priya and Caleb but honestly it could have been trimmed down a lot. The second half of the season just felt like a needless back and forth will they won't they which could have been better spent in my opinion. I'm still fine with the basic idea though and I think they were a cute couple

For some further thoughts, I thought the elimination order from the final 7 onwards could've been handled better. I feel like Raj should've went at that time, it would've made Wayne's arc of having to deal with playing without his buddy more effective since he'd have to go through with it longer. Plus, more screentime for MK and Damien would be nice, they were two of my favorites.

i loatheeee the troupe (tbh just in general irl or fiction) of men acting entitled to a women because they have a crush on them so the season wasn't fun for me 💀on another note, damien grew a lot on me. mk/julia was adorable also. i was happy wayne won because he's genuinely a nice guy

As much as I love this season and am happy Wayne won, Nichelle's elimination is straight bs. I do not accept the whole "she was too good" because if that was her issue, then eliminate her for the other players being intimdated by her skill the same way they voted Axel over Ripper in the baking episode.

I found season 2 to be a big improvment over season 1. Most of the characters from season 1 I didn't really like much, but in season 2 I found myself liking them more, and aside from Scary Girl being first boot I liked this elimination order a lot more. Only aspect of this season I really didn't care for was the Priya X Caleb saga

I loved the interactions between MK and Scary Girl in both seasons. Their dynamic feels underplayed. MK, weird as it may sound at first, is the most forgiving of this cast lineup. I think she's Scary Girl's best bet at actually making a friend. And honestly, they both need more of those.

While I dont hate Wayne as a character ( i still like them ), I think so much of the last few episodes having such an emphasis on Prileb dragged the entire ladder half down for me. Especially since that choked out some time. I wouldve loved to see more Wayne and Damien in Ep 9-13.

i'll never get over how the season very quickly went from having nearly the best possible elimination order to having the near worst possible one (excluding wayne winning, he definitely deserved it more than almost every other character imo)

My only issue with Wayne winning is that it feels like his character is not independent from Raj. Like I enjoy Raj and Wayne but I can't really say anything I specifically like about Wayne that doesn't apply to Raj as well. That said, out of the final three, he was my pick for winner and I do really like him, I just wish he had gotten more personality other than being one of the hockey bros. I feel like Wayne and Raj really got the Katie and Sadie treatment and I kind of wish they had been on separate teams or something this season just to give them a chance to develop separately.

Total Drama has always had a bad relationship with its black characters, and apparently it still persist to this day with how Nichelle and Mille just got taken out of the show for no good reason.

Lmao I also watched these leaks through KZfaq. Took me way back- I’m just glad each episode wasn’t broken up into 3 or 4 chunks. I really liked season 2! It was cool to see these characters again continuing certain dynamics and forming new relationships too. MK and Julia were the season for me. Their team with Wayne Raj and Bowie really carried all of my rooting interest. I was also rooting for Julia in the finale but if she couldn’t win I’m very happy with a Wayne victory! Also you’re so right. Justice for Scary Girl!! Personally, I liked season 2 a little more than season 1 and a major factor is because it felt to me like they lowered the amount of farting and fart jokes.

I REALLY think Bowie and Nichelle's eliminations should've been swapped. The episode Nichelle WAS eliminated in was the once where Bowie's cheating arc ended, so how about have Bowie leave the game as a way to make up to Raj and Bowie for his actions (unfortunately Raj and Wayne have alrewdy forgiven bowie as they think its all Julia manipulating him), and for Nichelle, her elimination would make a LOT more sense post-split since she's too much of a threat to have on the game, and Damien beating her may be the only chance she ever loses a challenge. Nichelle tried her best to make others like her, but she did TOO much of a good job, and it upsets her that it seems she can't do anything that pleases the other campers, so maybe she just does her own thing from now on, not caring what the studios OR her fans think

I don't even know much about the Total Drama reboot seasons as it is and can still tell you that bingo card is pretty spot-on. I guess that's what happens when your show is ultimately a parody lol (side note you look more and more like my last roommate as the days go by)

All Tea No Shade, I don't know what the writers for Total Drama have against Villains, but why can they never win? & Before anybody says "Oh, What about Heather? You're forgetting she won." No, I'm not forgetting she won... World Tour... where she actively became a Anti-Hero style Protagonist to defeat the NEW Antagonist, Alejandro. Which, I would love to get into how Heather being a villain was the entire reason she was able to see through Alejandro & was ultimately able to triumph above him and rewrite her story as a hero, but that's another topic for another day (and maybe another video?) Anyway, I just think for a reality style competition, it would be a new and interesting take to see that the reality is sometimes the villains win. Sometimes the antagonists come out on top, the hero fails, the people who cheated, lied, and stole make it farthest. Especially after all the sacrifices Julia made, such as manipulating a strong competitor Nichelle out of the game, stealing Damian's Immunity Idol and using it to get him eliminated, then in that same breath using the Idol to save herself and get YET ANOTHER strong competitor eliminated in the form of Priya, losing her hair to a dinosaur for Christ's sake. Most of all, betraying her only friend on the Island MK and getting her eliminated. It genuinely frustrates me when I see such well written and ruthless tv villains do so well and make it all the way to the end, just for them to get snubbed because "tHe GoOd GuY aLwAyS wInS!" No this isn't shade towards Wayne, I love him and I think he's a good winner. He has some of the most untouchable social game because he's a physical threat while being the most likeable. (Personally would've replaced him with Raj, but oh well). Moral of the story, just let the "bad guys" bask in glory once in a while. Hell just once even would satiate me.

Coming from a Total Drama OG fan, this season had the best season finally in Total Drama history! I was really impressed. Definitely a step up from season one reboot!👍Loved Wayne. Loved Caleb. Loved Julia.

I don’t hate Wayne I actually like his character but the reason I’m really mad he won is the fact that he even said that he wasn’t really trying to win the entire time and then he accidentally won. And the reason I don’t like that is because Julia was the main character besides priya, she caused like 6 eliminations, won immunities, messed with Caleb’s mind, stole and used Damian’s idol, and got her friend (mk) out. Like how did she not win after all that like you put so much work into her character. But I honestly really do love Wayne and his win isn’t even that bad it’s just the whole Julia thing that makes me mad that he won instead of her but otherwise we love wayne. Also I do have Julia bias, she was my favorite character since s1 e1

Ripper tried to die a fart record holder, but lived long enough to see himself become the fart fetishist villain

Well, maybe Axel x Ripper wasnt the best ship, but I do like it for all the character moments Axel got out of it. Like, her being very affectionate and artistic (with both poetry and paiting) was actually very cool and I loved the characterization of her.

Still mad how now chef apparently cares about all of the teenagers but this season toned it down a lot I'm sure they got a lot of complaints last season about it. Also Chris's voice is much closer. I will say after Damien got eliminated I did not want anyone left to win so I kind of defaulted on Wayne or Raj cause it'd be the funniest ending luckily that's what happened.

Scary Girl is underrated she needs to be in the final four at least next time. Whether they include the other casts or not.

I dont think its meant to be malicious, this isnt s1 anymore they cant just claim a character is ghetto lol. But i def think they do us a bit dirty. Have you got any other headcanons on characters from earlier seasons? I have this belief that Harold is autistic, because a lot of his traits fit that old "aspie" stereotype, the kind of character that is verbose and extremely intelligent but has trouble reading social cues, struggles in social situations and is often a target for bullying. Funnily enough, if was to say a girl in this generation was autistic, I would say it was Millie, not Lauren. Her superiority complex comes primarily from being unable to fit in with her peers and she's often innocently insensitive. She's also pretty fidgety, which I recognize because most of my stims are forms of fidgeting (I used to rock, but I trained myself out of that).

Honestly I was hoping that MK would have outlasted Julia. I was hoping that MK would surpass Julia when she realized that she wasn't really a friend. I think that they might become a couple in the next season based on one of their interactions this time. I'll be a little disappointed if they don't actually.

Here's my take, Ripaxel and Prilen should've swapped roles. Since we didn't have too much of a read on Caleb's character and Priya was a finalist, I don't think them becoming a kissy couple would've been too much of a waste. I think Ripaxel had a lot that could've been explored throughout the season, and it would also make Julia manipulating them more believable.

I did enjoy this season, but my big problem was the Priya/Caleb subplot, mostly because I find it impossible to root for Caleb's romantic prospects. He's just some big perfect hot guy, everyone loves him, he chooses whoever he wants, whatever, why should I care? What, his flaw is he's too honest? Too perfect and likeable? Damn shame, least you could do is not be happy.

I hate how this season treated Scary Girl, and I hate even more how fans of the show think her being voted off was justified and not completely unfair.

Yeah Priya should have definitely been eliminated earlier in this season cuz by the time it gets to the final four or five you're like well she can't win. And her and Caleb got old real fast.

Prileb was okay but it def did not have to last as long as it did lol- derailed both of their characters imo. MK and Julia was the highlight of the season for sure- hopefully next season we get justice for Nichelle, more MKulia and Rajbow scenes, and I’d like to see Caleb get some screen time without Priya.
