yes. my little sister just turned 7 and she loves roblox. i played it near her age and had some issues with groomers myself so i wanted to make sure it was safe. I think Roblox is such a fun platform, but usually kids don’t pay attention to the chat box when there are a lot of them playing together at once. All my cousins and child family friends play roblox, so when they come over they all play together and have a lot of fun that way. it’s way less likely for anything predatory to happen to them that way

I will also include the level of cost that we had to pay for exposing them. 5. Kelogish Threat level: low. There was only 1 or 2 victims groomed. All parents should be that way. The degeneracy has clearly gotten so, so much worse.

Unfortunately a lot of parents just assume the platforms their kids go on will do the education for them, and a lot of parents don't have a trusting relationship with their kids meaning the children are afraid to come to them about strange interactions. Parents aren't solely responsible, but they need to teach their kids about the dangers of being online in age appropriate ways.

Roblox is where you go to get first-hand experience on how to avoid this shit. Half the reason I'm as cautious as i am is because I grew up playing Roblox. There's so many scammers, catfishers/pedos and exploiters.

I understand the feeling of guilt, but trust me, it's not your fault whatsoever. When people raise you to only be quiet and please others, it's hard to think that doing something someone wanted is bad. I was groomed by my older brother when I was four and then again when I was seven. It's really not as rare as you think. Every single woman I've known that was a child on the internet has been approached by one or multiple preds at some point in being on these platforms.
