Last week I’ve bought dr.Martens with high platform. Yesterday was the first time that I really wore them for more than one hour and omd my feet were hurting so bad. Thanks for the tips. I will put them in a warm environment & I’l also buy some heel cussions, bc that’s the place where I’ve got the most pain.

I got my docs 10 years ago and they still make me bleed each time 🥲🥲🥲🥲 these tips are helpful though. Honestly I thought I just got a smaller size but reading more such experiences is relieving lol

All these things Doc Martens provides to prevent blisters instead of breaking in the boot before they sell it 🤣

They used to have some like that called Milled, i have white milled ones, didnt have to break them in at all, i believe e they used to stretch the leather to soften it up before they made them

I warm them uo with a blow dryer and then 6 coats of mink oil and they are perfect never hurt

Hi everyone. I just got my 1st DM jadon ll star from Hongkong yesterday. From US 7, I sized down to US6 and it fits me perfectly. It feels like I'm still wearjng my usual size. The toe box and the length is ok. It's my 1st day and I'm still in tje process of breaking in. I'm just sitting on my office as usual and doing my project. Luckily, my house is so near there. Although, my heel formed a little blisters. I should wear double socks.

just got some Doc Martens x Lowell today. I walked around the house in them for about 2 hours and thought hey they are actually quite comfortable not too bad ohh I was wrong!! just went for a 3km walk prob not the smartest thing to do halfway through the walk my heals were fuuuucked i had blood on my socks and 1,5 kilometres to walk back most of the way uphill I will try your suggestions ahaaha

@@Fodaydontplay Yeah I got the black leather ones they look great and I think they will be fine ones broken in. Also, just a side note I went down half a size in them 👍

I’m still unsure til this day. I got doc martens for Christmas right and I wore them for the first time out and I felt no pain, til now I still have no pain

My foot looks like it went to war. I forgot how painful the breaking process is 😢 The skin on the back of my heel came off and bled. Hurts to walk 2:26

Hey, would you recommend boot stretchers at all? I have a high instep so get pain from both pairs of my 1460 boots on the top of my foot (just under the tongue join). Do you have any experience using stretchers at all?

I got crazy blisters from the rubbing it did on the back of my foot.. why wont they improve the comfort? no other boot does this

I have the 1460 women’s in 8, nappa leather, they had to be softened up in the heel only. Perfect now after I worked on the heel a few minutes. I just got the Audrick in nappa leather, same size 8, and it runs big and I have to wear thick socks and tie them so tight. I don’t believe I could go down a size as my toe would touch the front of the shoe. Is it normal for the sizing difference between the different styles?

i had the high jaden dr martens and they were fine to wear in with the vegan leather, now i got a pair of the ankle height ones and it feels like someone is cutting my achilles tendon with a knife ngl, have tried all sorts of stuff but it doesnt seem to get better with the stuff mentioned in the video :(
