My Setup 4 Impact® golf method makes it easier to hit any golf shot. Simply setting up on your impact plane and then swinging on one single plane makes the game easier. I customize the simple concept to fit each individual golfer regardless of age, flexibility, and natural ability. I will help you improve faster than any other way. I have worked over 35 years in developing this simple golf swing method which can help anybody play better golf quickly. Many do better their next time out. Because it is easier to repeat it is also easier on the body. Putting less stress on the back, hips, and knees.
Membership on www.setup4impact.com lets you send me videos of your swing so that I can customize this simple concept to make learning even faster. I have a complete learning program on the website that you will not find here on KZfaq, and am adding content regularly for my Platinum members. You can even participate in live sessions with me. setup4impact.com

Kirk has taught golf for 35 years now. He has taught various golf methods including for Natural Golf Corporation, Single Axis golf, and the Graves Golf Academy. Kirk invented the Minimalist golf swing method which had you setup and swing on a single plane, which has evolved into his currently taught Setup 4 Impact swing which is the Ultimate golf swing because it is built to fit every golfer regardless of shape, size, age, or ability. The Setup4Impact golf swing very closely resembles the swing of Bryson DeChambeau who also sets up on his impact plane. Kirk's number one goal is to help you improve at golf.
Kirk Junge currently teaches his "Setup 4 Impact" swing full-time in West Palm Beach, Florida year round, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio, Reading, PA, and Sanford, NC a couple times per year. Other locations coming soon including California. More info at setup4impact.com/kirk-junge/

Kirk, I hope anyone that sees this video and is struggling with golf will give Setuo for Impact a chance like I did. Even a senior citizen like myself can derive great benefits from your system because it simplifies all the mechanics and the drills reinforce the natural swing motion once you start in the proper position aligned with the target. I was able to drop my 18 hole scores from triple digits to upper 80s in a little over a year using Setup4Impact in a little over a year. If I can do it others can too… Thanks for all your videos and coaching thru the membership program, Golf has never been so much fun!

Kirk, can you do a video on when we lose the swing (turns to shite) i have gone back to the basics and doing the drills but there is no timing etc etc. lost 20-30metres of drive distance, topped, skied, hooks and slices are standard at the moment, sometimes straight but no distance. It may just be over-compensating for each of the said errors or tension? Where did the golf buggy come from is he a time traveler, glitch in the Matrix or what.

I would like that video too. For me, it seems to be mostly thinking too hard about individuel components and not following the "checklist" properly on setup, checking the aim and checking the distance at the ball. And then the swing just being back and through. If I rush things, it often means "pulling the trigger" on release way too early = flip/slice/pull.

I just wanted to see how many watch the whole video....lol....I did not want him to distract during the swing...so blocked him out until after. He was sitting there without me knowing for a few seconds, and then drove by......Most likely you are compensating for something. Most l likely too weak of a grip in the leading hand. To compensate for that weak grip you have to release early and when you release too early for that grip the ball goes left and hooks, or you miss the middle of the club face, top, etc...when the hands go through as they should leading the clubbed then the ball slices. So change the grip and get the hands leading. Start with drill one and the variations, and then drill 2.

Kirk, other than proper set up and practicing the drills, is there a "swing thought" or move you make to prevent the early release of the club through impact? I've had some good improvement but as I speed up the swing to try to get better distance, I get higher shots which I believe is due to an early release. I've heard you emntion in another video about using your fingers to help prevent it, can you eloborate? Thank you

Hi Kevin, my entire learning program takes you step by step through how to release at the right time. 95% of golfers release early. So I have a set of drills that show you how to go about making it perfect starting with very short swings. I touch on this a bit in a recent video with Drill in the title. My complete learning program is available at setup4impact.com/online/

Is it normal for proper impact to feel almost like a chip? I sometimes practice on an empty football field and if I, for example, need to do a partial shot with a long club, due to lack of space, I will naturally sort of chip it, and then the ball-flight often comes out super clean.

It is, actually. Sounds like what you are doing is basically drill 2 or 3 with a longer club. The more you do these drills the better your impact will be with your full swing! Tony Griffin Setup4Impact Master Instructor Sanford, NC

I love that feel Morten!!! I will even use that on five wood shots, and drives sometimes when I need a controlled shot. Bryson called that shot his "Fairway finder" swing.

Hi Kirk The Club face is square at the time of set up, then the club face is slightly open at the time of impact position (not square). I worried about the slice. Please explain this.
@Setup4Impact

The face will be square at impact if everything else is correct. Sometimes camera angles can make it look one way or another.
