Thank you, Julien. I was molested when I was 5 by an 11 year old boy. I've never told a soul this. I'm 30, almost 31. I decided I needed to hide that part of me. Last night, I told my therapist. We had one session. I've had such exponential growth from watching your videos over the past few weeks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Julien. Your words really have helped to start my healing process. One I thought I didn't deserve. ❤

Going back to the idea that whatever you’re yearning for from others, that’s what you need to give to yourself- that’s not exactly new for me for things like approval, acceptance, and love. But when you mentioned trust there… that really hit home. If I want others to trust me to handle things, I need to trust myself to do what needs to be done. Thank you.

I've been being authentic and very forward lately and basically everyone seems to be just more intimidated so what you're saying here is a great message but it isn't the real world. People are too uncomfortable just in their own health that there's no real way for people to get passed that road block. Figuring myself out from a health standpoint has changed how I feel from the inside but I'm not noticing anything different from anyone's responses In my Immediate surroundings. Great message for humanity but people aren't listening these days..

My whole adult life I had trouble with vulnerability. But I recently decided to be more open and vulnerable with people and I discovered just what you said - most people do actually relate. And if someone doesn't like something about me - oh well, it just means they're not my people. Also, completely off topic, your outfit reminds me of Cyberpunk 2077.

Ive always seen vulnerability as an absolute strength. Cutting yourself off and NOT being vulnerable makes you a weakling imo because you’re too scared of the judgement of others. Hearing people say vulnerability=feminine really makes me sad because those people must be miserable. They will have little to no meaningful relationships, personal or platonic, without being vulnerable.

There are two sides to this actually. Vulnerability helps to strengthen you against negative emotions by embracing it. But usually people who don't know how to be vulnerable are really confident. The other side of confidence and magnetism is AGGRESSION. Cultivate your inner aggression quality and it will protect you against negative emotions you are not strong to be vulnerable

And one thing IMPORTANT. Whenever i feel bad about myself or just feel sad or demotivated i say myself *hope you die, why are you alive ,why doesn't a car hits you and you die , you don't deserve anything, i don't wanna do anything in my life, i have got no desire in my life, let's stop doing hard work leave everything and etc*. By doing that i feel better and the emotion passes away it's like i am feeding that energy BUT as you said this is wrong *cause you are feeding that emotion by saying things which amplifies the emotion even more* so i stopped doing it , instead i started observing it , but it feels like i am resisting the urge to say these things to me it feels just soo bad like i am resisting all the things that i wanna say to me cause few moments later of doing negetive self talk continuously the emotion goes away and it feels much better BUT IT'S AN TOXIC APPROACH , so what do i do now? How do i let go of emotion without resisting the urge to do negetive self talk , i express and release that feeling by negetive self talk instead of letting go , but by trying letting go i resist the urge to express my self hate feeling
@Gragon777
@Gragon777 8 ай бұрын
Letting go is on the feeling dimension. Talking is mind. Start feeling your self hate and it will fade. Find the moment where you realize, that you betrayed yourself and how that hurts in your heart. Apologize afterwards to yourself if the moment and feelings are right and you will see the self hate go. And what is left is compassion for yourself. I cried when i first time in my life felt that. Went exactly through what i described. The only thing to do is to start feeling the hate you have for yourself. Rest comes with that. Good luck!

@@LivinKhalybut it's not permanent, like people in sports cry before a match to release stress and anxiety but it's temporary cause in another match they'll get anxious and stressed again and they have to do same process again to release stress, so releasing by crying isn't working in long term. Stress goes away temporarily so why my trauma, social anxiety will go away permanently by releasing through crying?
@iuinshine5213

it's just a release when you cry. The more you repress not to cry the more it triggers you probably to cry. Get in the shower, shower firstly normally how you do ussually and then with really really cold water ... experience it. Look and analyse how you feel there. How you breath, how your body resists etc. You will notice once you accept the coldness it's not as difficult anymore to hold it the cold shower. Yes the sensation is still kinda unpleasant but you don't suffer as much. That's what usually meant by not resisting or letting go. After such experience despite the coldness you feel way more warm then taking a warm shower. It's all about where your attention goes, what kind of emotions/feelings you give power/attention.

@@Ghostss071 I am not sure myself what is right or wrong. Howerver it should feel better. Isn't it amazing that our body is so smart and even when we repress something it will find another way to release our emotions! In my opinion it's the fastest way. At least you could try it. There is no lose for you. It's more about what you feel personally works best for you. And you can only know it by observing your body and feelings. Not even giving it specific meaning or analysing it too much till it feeds one overthinking but just experiencing it.

All this stuff goes out the window when you realize that women want the bad boy, they don’t want to guy who is sharing his vulnerabilities and coming off as too safe. They want the guy who excites them and puts them on edge. Mysterious, bad, kind of intimidating, etc…
@Dalabombana
@Dalabombana 8 ай бұрын
I think there is a difference from being a door mat and being vulnerable when the time calls for it. Of course mystery is exciting initially, for both parties, but the bad boy/girl thing is exhausting in a long term relationship and it’s 100% not the attributes that emotionally healthy and mature women look for in future father-material I can assure you. I look for confidence, openness but discernment in who a prospective partner is vulnerable with. Then I know I can trust them. I would love it if everyone could be open like this, but there are a lot of predators out there, so it’s a balance of working on authentic openness with emotional discernment. If I trust my partner I should be able to be vulnerable- and vice versa.
@nickp3949
@nickp3949 8 ай бұрын
@@Dalabombana I mean I’ve seen it time and time again. A woman goes out with a guy, he’s emotionally mature, good father material, etc…and she gets bored of him. Instead she’s banging the bad boy every night, the guy who has a bad attitude, is disrespectful, is intimidating, tells her how much he’s gonna fuck her tonight, etc… I’ve seen this happen a million times. The truth is that emotionally mature men, good men, don’t get the sexual juices flowing in women. You need an edge to you. Or you’re just gonna get friend zoned. “He’s a good guy but…it’s just not there” is what she’s gonna say every single time. She craves the bad boy.

Letting go is the craziest hack ever. Changed my life in one year for ever. Been reading and trying stuff for the results for 6 years and nothing helped me.

I understand the message. I have. Tried counselling, life coaching and alternative spiritual stuff and the practitioners sound similar to what you are saying. It always makes me feel worse. Like I'm not good enough to be in their presence or that they look down on me for not understanding myself

@@JulienHimself thanks Julien, but what do you think. I think you should be only vulnerable with people you trust because others dont care. But also even if you are vulnerable with random people wouldnt that sometimes be annoying to them because then I just talk, overshare and just be a little annoying with my opinions.
