The world title thing blew my MIND

It is because Sora and Riku are the Child of Destiny. I would point out Riku spends time in Sora's Heart. (Dream Drop Distance), thus being One. Also both were Chosen to be Dark Vessels.

It is also implied Dreams are more expanded versions of the Unmanifest Worlds of Light. Which means You can know things that haven't happen yet. You feeding information from your higher dimensional state. It is you detecting your own Fate. Because the Master of Masters scripted this with his Magic Manifesting Book and his Sight, sometimes the Characters can unconsciously sense it. Take for example, when Maleficent controls Terra's Darkness, and makes him take Princess Aurora's Heart, he sees Ventus in a flash. But why? Simple. Ventus was a Pure Light damaged by Darkness (the Being who becomes Vanitas) with Master Xehanort's influence. Maleficent controlling Terra's Darkness and making him hurt a Pure Light mirrors this. So Terra can unconsciously sense his Fate is to become a Darkness, and a Shadow to Ventus's Light. Thus, the Vision, the Dream, the Seeing.

@@purpleirken1529 Another example of this is Sora's Dream in the First game. It is revealed by Nomura that the Voice that directs you, the one you cannot hear is Mickey. But Mickey doesn't know Sora at this point. But He will. So in this Dreaming State, Sora's Heart can connected to the Future Mickey's Heart where Mickey does know Sora and has seen him at the Door. Because in the Realm of Dreaming and Death that already Happened. It is like DC comics, the Dreaming,. The Dreaming contains the Collective Unconscious of Beings, and has any Books, Myths, or script anyone has ever made. So to come back to Kingdom Hearts, the Dream is the Imagination and Stories in the Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts has Imagined the Past, Present, and Future. So when Sora's Sleeps he is picking up Fragments of the Future that was Dreamed before it will occur in the Realm of Light.

I mean, if you want to go there I can think of a reasonable explanation, that being that they didn't want to change the character models so late in the game to avoid confusion and for gameplay 😅. Sounds like a pretty shitty explanation when the argument is that Nomura is so intricate about the details but technically, let's think about DDD, specifically the world that never was. We're in "the real world" there, not a sleeping world, and yet both Sora and Riku keep their younger appearance and attire. Furthermore, when Sora gets kidnapped even while he is asleep we know it's the real world because Mickey and Axel and the rest come to save him and Riku, who shouldn't technically have that younger appearance either. Even more damning is that Sora is asleep here and is young, and then he is still asleep when they take him to Yen Sid's tower but there he and Riku look appropriately aged. Why is that the case? What I think is that since we still had to do the boss battles and everything, it would've been inconvenient to make a playable model for older Riku, and even if they did, it would be weird to have older Riku and younger Sora right next to each other for no apparent reason. I don't know, eventually they do return to their older selves while in kh3 Riku's hair never goes back even after a year. But we also have to take into account that the dream eater sigil never appears on his clothes like it did in DDD. Besides, the Riku model with longer hair looks kinda ugly so I don't blame then for not wanting to go back to it in the climax 😅 it would've also made it weird for the marketing and the image they wanted to present of kh3 Riku if he suddenly changed appearances so late in the game, but that's just my 2 cents.

Because Riku is still Sora's Dream Eater, and their Fates are Bonded. And because Sora abused the Power of Waking he is becoming more Unreal (Imaginary) by the second. Also, The Master of Master Scripted this whole thing, and the Master of Masters, like Nomura, likes his esoteric symbolism. Now, Riku before his second haircut, has the hair of Young Xehanort. So, not changing the Hair back shows Riku has surpassed Xehanort with his Love of Sora.

In ddd when Riku goes back to the world that never was in the real world, his appearance/hair also doesn’t change despite being in the waking world.

If that’s the case then why does Sora still say he is totally confused about love- specifically romantic love- even after Re:Mind. He also never says anything about realizing he loves Kairi during that exact scene in the novel. The only thing he thinks regarding the visions is “oh I guess the princesses of heart all have a special power to save people they care about. Kairi is a princess too.” The most that can be said is that he knows Kairi cares about him. He doesn’t even associate it with “true love”.

@@CampingforCool41 mostly with the pretext of all the past stories. He can be confused by love and still love someone. Even if the novel states something, it does not remove the fact that there can still be love there. It doesn't even necessarily mean love as in romantic love, but who else has Sora wanted to share a poupuo fruit with? Why kidnap specifically kairi and not another friend? Is she the weakest? Maybe, but then there's no proof to prove anything when it comes to that. Plus those scenes are Sora literally being shown that acts of love can save someone like how Kairi's love for Sora kept him in reality. Hell he spends his last moments of existence with her. He checked on everyone else, but decided to spend his time with her

@@dudeekill4win Maybe he's realizing that his feelings for Kairi aren't actually love? He thought that's what it was when he started his chase for her in KH1, but that's not what it is any more?

@@TRMshadow916 it's definitely possible since he did grow up. Kingdom hearts 1 and Re:com/com definitely leaned into him actually loving her. In the later games, it seemed to lean more towards friendship. With that being said, I would need actual evidence of him no longer loving her. Don't get me wrong, Sora is a good guy and might sacrifice himself for basically any of his friends, but the ending of KH3 really makes me think that he wanted to spend his last days with the person he cared about the most. He didn't choose to see Riku, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc. just Kairi

I mean yeah, they were about love, but love in the sense of a true love's sacrifice. Both Elsa and Rapunzel were grieving in these shots, because someone they truly love (familiar and romantic) just sacrificed themselves. So yeah, I gotta disagree with you here. It was definitely about sacrifice.
