My stepson Noah Enos Chicago went missing 6/12/23. His body found in the Chicago River 6/17/23. We are working with Kevin Gannon and his team of experts along with former CIA/FBI agent Tracy Wader. Steven Enos and I would like to speak with other victims parents!

I went to Viterbo University in Lacrosse Wisconsin and played baseball for the school. I went out to the bars one night a week before Christmas to celebrate the end of the semester with teammates. I had two drinks that night which for me is not much but the rest of the night was a blur. I ended up walking up outside next to my dorm building. I had a fat lip and didn’t have my keys. I was leaving that day to go back home to a different state and didn’t have time to look for them. 3 days later i got a call from the ymca saying someone has found my keys. I had syncs lanyard on my keys and the lady who “found” my keys called the ymca and they returned the keys to one of my friends that was still out in lacrosse. Turns out she found my keys in an random alley about a block or two from the Mississippi River. The river was about 5 miles from my dorm and the complete opposite direction of my dorm from the . After hearing that there has been 8 possible cases of these smiley face killings in lacrosse something tells me i may have possibly been a target. Learning one of the killers may be a female makes me think that possibly the lady that “found” my keys could’ve been involved. Either way looking back i feel lucky and blessed to still be alive after that

They just pulled Noah Enos out of the Chicago River. Yesterday the police advised the girlfriend to check the river. Why didn’t the police check the river? That’s suspicious to me.

The town I went to college in had a river directly across the street from a cluster of bars a lot of the students frequented. There were no barriers around the water. In the four years that I was there, there weren't any cases of attractive young white males stumbling out of one of the bars, crossing the street, and just walking into that river, regardless of how easy it would have been to do so. Given that, I don't understand how eyebrows weren't raised in cases where these young men had to cross both natural and man made barriers to put themselves in the water.

Ive never heard of a smiley face killer before. But , theres a case happening, now , in Nashville that fits the victim description. 😮 College age kid from Missouri. Kicked out of a bar and never found. His belongings found at the edge of Cumberland River. Has anyone else been following this story ???

This exact situation happend to my friend Spencer Pitcher, 23. Went missing after a night of drinking at the bar. Good looking college age white male. Found in the river days later for an "accidental drowning". They think he fell into the water but, we were from Michigan and he knew how to swim. This happened in 2011 found in Rapid Creek southeast of Dakota Drive and Canyon Lake Drive. RIP Spencer. His mom and sister could not understand how he could accidently fall into freezing water with shorts on. They both un alived themselves. His other sister is his only living relative and as she got on dru g s really bad I feel this will always be looked at as an accident. It wasn't an accident.

I’ve noticed such killings in Chicago lately. Some young guy leaves a party drunk and ends up in a water body dead.

I grew up in Northern WV about 40 mins from Wheeling and Pittsburgh in either direction. My friend was lured on by a woman, drugged and attempted to be separated from our group in hopes of a hook up. It was only by chance i didnt get my card back after closing my tab that my friends spotted a man and woman attempting to to drag my friends limp body into a vehicle near the bar. My friend was over 6 foot and 200lbs a big guy who always worked out. We had been to this bar in Pittsburgh numerous times and felt comfortable there. Im 33 this incident happened over 10 years ago. Tox reports at the hospital revealed my friend was drugged. This video sent chills up my body thinking back to that night. We always assumed he was going to be robbed but damn this video makes me think. We just kind of kept it hush but urged him to report the incident to Pittsburgh police.

I'm afraid Riley Strain is their next victim.

This almost sounds like Missing 411 for waterways. In those cases most victims were also young, healthy, intelligent men. It would be interesting to see if the drowned men were of German descent because that was the case with a lot of the Missing 411 men. You did an excellent job of telling this story!

Young man fitting the same victim descriptions just disappeared in Chicago this past weekend after a night of drinking. I'm guessing they'll find him in the lake in the near future.

There is a story on Darkness Prevails page SOMEWHERE where he narrates the story of a guy who went swimming (i think, or he went to fish and ended up in the water to retrieve something, not sure which) and saw another individual kind of observing him, when the individual got closer and closer but quietly until he was violently pulled under, like the other person was trying to drown him, but managed to escape, got out, ran off and never went back/told anyone.he also said he took a look back at the guy and all he can remember is how the guy was grinning back at him, like a rictus grin..not sure if it fits considering he was already in the water for whatever reason but still..an interesting parallel, I think..i think its got to be more than one person. A collective dedicated to eradicating certain types of people for whatever reason.

Just to let you know, Duquesne is pronounced "Do-Cane". I was born and grew up in Greene Township, Pennsylvania which is powered by "Duquesne Light" nuclear power plant. My grandfather's entire electrician career was spent working at this plant so I'm 100% sure I know how to properly pronounce the name.

Yeah.... HIGHLY doubt these are coincidence or drownings. 😮.... my eldest was in college at LaCrosse Wisconsin, and an athlete, ✋️ white guy, and was approached by some super friendly guys while trying to get back to his dorm. This was 1006-07...... they put their arms over his shoulder, acted all concerning,... and started leading him AWP from where he was headed, and towards river. Thank goodness he wasn't soooo out of it drunk, and was a short but strong wrestler,.... after a block or so realized, perhaps these people didn't have his safety or best intentions...... he managed to block and roll out of their grasp, and ran for his life back into populated area 😮

The authorities and media really should just make a public announcement to warn young college age White men and boys to stay with friends and stay alert when out about town especially when at these boozing places , and to be aware of people spiking their drinks too. That would be a low key way to warn everyone without enflaming anyone.

We have had 3 young men that went missing under these same circumstances and were found dead from drowning. Yet non of the cameras show any of them falling off the bridges into the water. We currently have a 20 yr old Cristian Martinez missing since Sat night from IAC Bar. Are anyone still investigating this

A young man drowned in the Mississippi near otsego Minnesota 7 years bsck. It was not long after i happened upon a documentary about this issue. He was at a wedding reception in an otsego bar. The river is approximately just less than a mile away. Why would someone just wander off from a family members wedding reception going thru a farm field then wander through a residential area then just end up falling into a river? Ive always thought it was strange how msny people wander into waterways while drunk

my mom could have been a victim of this, MCHENRY IL, shes an acholic my grandpa didnt wanna deal with drunk her so he left her at a park, according to her a stranger offered her kfc, and she got in there van, 2 people, one man one girl, my mom rarly ever talks about it, but she was thrown in a river, she had a broken knee and alot of bruises, she managed 2 swim out of the river, and walk 2 a bank where police found her, she never talked about this in fear they would come back

Chicago having a series of strange drownings, one just a month ago, he was 28 coming home from a concert.

It just happened again in Nashville. The kid was walking without stumbling and was on police body cam exchanging pleasantries with a cop, absolutely no slurring of his speech. I'm a female and in my younger years, I spent too much of my life drinking and partying. Every guy in whatever friend circle I was in, wherever I lived made it home somehow, even if they could barely walk. Some did pass out in strange places. The nightclub bathroom. A sidewalk. Their own lawn, or a random one. One guy even wandered into a stranger's apartment and passed out on their couch. But never once did they just jump into the bay, ocean or river and I've lived in places with all three.

It's also happening in Austin.. this is getting scary

They pulled out 2 men outta the Newtown creek in NYC, within 3 months I believe , both had the same circumstances (leaving the Mirage, looking for an uber) with one being caught on camera running away from the club before somehow being found dead in a creek, that you can’t just hop into, most of these lumber yards are heavily secured.

Young men can do some crazy things when they are drunk but those antics are usually always with their mates otherwise there's no point. I've never known off a single person in our younger days that died from drinking and swimming and then again all those midnight drunken swims where all done in groups for apart from the fun it was safer to go swimming in a group. It doesn't make sense to me with all these guys drowning

Thanks for sharing this, I do believe it's a plausible theory. It really is awful to see youth targeted in this way. It's also alarming to me that it's so easy for "friends" to not notice the person disappear or letting them go off on their own. Idk if this is a college male thing or a frat thing or what but I remember in college we always stuck together and looked out for each other in college. There was even a time my friends and I had found a drunk male student stumbling along the street and no one else was paying him any mind. He was in bad shape and thankfully he had his ID on him and we were able to get him back to his dorm safely. He had separated from his "friends" for some reason that night. All this to say that on my campus at least I often saw solo drunk males more than a solo drunk female. It makes me wonder if male privilege plays a role in these "drowning" cases. Could it be a possible motive? Is there someone that wants to teach males a lesson in that they shouldn't feel so comfortable walking alone at night? There are also many theories that come to mind as to why the police aren't bothering much with looking into these patterns, aside from it just being convenient to label many situations as an accidental drowning. Won't get into that here but I was thinking about Riley Strain's case and the message he sent to his mother about his rum and coke tasting like barbecue. Let's say Ghb could be a possibility in his case, from what I've read it can have a salty or soapy taste. I'm not really a drinker but I was curious if anyone has ever added salt to a rum and coke. Would it have a barbecue like taste? Adding soap is another option but definitely not a recommended test. I'd like to hear what others think on this.

After years of research, my theory of the SFK is simple: the Smiley Face Killers are cops, but the killings aren’t the result of covert arrangements doing surgical strikes amongst certain populations. Instead, this is an emergent phenomenon that’s centered around a basic tenant of homicide investigation and forensic science: the fact that bodies collected from the water leave very little in the way of clues. Bodies found in water are harder to identify than those on land. It’s harder to determine cause of death, method of operation, and time of death in victims pulled from the water. Most importantly for our purposes here, water deaths mean coroners and ME’s are able to generalize and simplify their assessments of water borne victims. The notion that water has some weird - sometimes hard to predict - effects on decay gives an examiner leeway to guess at certain aspects of a murder or accidental desk, using the presence of water to explain away abnormal findings. We see this in a lot of the SFK victim list, where an ME might pronounce drowning as a COD without significant water in the victim’s lungs. We also see cases where the bodies have clearly not been in the water as long as the available evidence suggests, but the examiners still blow by that fact in determining cod. A majority of the cases involve victims whose last contacts were police officers, often late at night. Cops - uniforms, desk jocks, detectives etc.. - all know what water does to dead bodies. If they happen to accidentally or willfully kill somebody, and don’t feel like fessing up to the crime, it’s far better to throw the body in the nearest body of water instead of a shallow grave. Even better to wait a few days before throwing the corpse in the drink, just to add more confusion to the autopsy. Taking a few minutes to spray a smiley face (assuming there’s not one around already which there usually is) is a lot easier than driving a fresh kill to a wilderness area and digging for 2 hours. Cops have been killing citizens for as long as the idea of police work has existed. The smiley face killers phenomenon is just the evidence of their efforts to shield themselves from scrutiny.

I’m not sure I subscribe to the whole smiley face gang of killers theory, however, this is all very odd. I find it hard to believe this many young met get completely hammered to the point where they walk often very far out of their way and fall into a river/lake and drown. Cmon. I’ve been around the block, lived in 3 of the largest cities in the US, partied all over the place, beach houses, cities, lakes - went to college with tons of water in short distance from bars and campus. Never heard of or knew of anyone that ended up drowning after a night out partying. When the kid went missing from the salt shed in Chicago last month I texted my buddies that he would be found in the river..and obviously he was. Lucky guess? I don’t believe so.

I would love to know if any of these victims had insurance policies taken out on them prior to death since from experience I KNOW that there are groups taking out insurance policies on people they plan to "sacrifice". I am willing to bet that unbeknownst to these victim's families, other policies could have been illegaly obtained on these victims. Without my knowledge, people had insurance policies on my life! I know some of these victims were held for days, weeks, even months prior to discovering body. Long enough to fraud the paperwork for insurance? The fact that their deaths were attributed to accident means insurance policies would payout.

Thank you for the excellent work that you do. The Smiley Face Murders has always been of interest to me. I have a theory, albeit probably not the correct one, but here goes. Perhaps these murders are occurring because these young college men are a little cocky. They seem to be athletic, good grade earners and popular. Some young men (and I'm not saying all of them) can get a bit cocky and rub it into other people who are quieter, not so athletic and probably have a small group of friends. Some people don't take well to that sort of treatment. Just a thought. Let me know if I'm sort of on the right track.

I don't doubt that something sinister is going on but please keep in mind that 'smiley faces' are one of the most common forms of graffiti. My daughter draws them all over the house. With no concrete "area" to look for that design, you could feasibly just keep walking until you see one and say, "Well, shit, there it is, it must be the Smiley Face Killer(s)." There very well may be clues that are being overlooked in lieu of just finding one of these markings.
