This was a hard case to cover, my condolences rest with Mollie's family. And just a quick side note as I know politics is a sensitive topic, but this video is not intended to politically influence anyone or reveal any of my own opinions. As a narrator I'm just bringing up the statements which divided people. I may be late with next week's video. I spent most of last week sick and I'm still not 100%. - Adrian

@@thehair1474 I am sorry but this is an absolutely ridiculous comment because cases like this are outliers. The chances of you being attacked by an illegal immigrant is 1/1000, using Texas and NY as case studies. So it is not the immigrants you need to worry about. An average immigrant (Legal and Illegal) is too busy studying or working multiple jobs to survive in this country. With that said, i am glad this devil will live the rest of his miserable life in prison. Mollie didn't deserve this at all

There should really be a line drawn as to how much fuckery a defence team can do in the name of defending their (apparently guilty murderer) client. Its absolutely disgusting how much lies and manipulation these defence teams are ALLOWED legally to carry out just in the name of "doing their duty". I said it on patreon but I'll say it again here: Cases like this are why I ALWAYS tell someone where I'm going, what route I'm taking, and how long I expect to be gone when I go running. Even though I have my phone and pepper spray with me, even though I live in a small, rural town where "everyone knows everyone" you can NEVER be too safe. I feel safe enough where I live to go running on the roads instead of paying for a gym membership and running on a treadmill, but my attention is still on high alert at all times.

So it makes sense they are super wary of men and don't want them to get close to them. They even have to be wary of the ones they know since most aggressions come from men who aren't strangers. Men do get murdered as well, but it's all kinds of different reasons: theft, gang fights, vengeance... But those don't happen to you on a daily basis now, do they ? While a woman getting approached by a man does happen on a daily basis.

The whole story was so sad and I was feeling really bad for the family when that plot twist was so gracefully brought up. That poor kid didn't ask to be abandoned like that!
