Alfredo M Have you seen the factory Power Wagon mount? The Power Wagon has a factory 12k Warn winch in a slick hidden mount. Can probably get parts from a dealer.

Dana 60&70 4.11s should be easy to find out of the 2nd gen Rams. give you a wide axle and proper gears for some 40s LoL

Actually with the engine in tube sock it probably gets better mileage than anything else comparable. Also there's tons of stuff he could do to drastically improve mileage. He's actually getting decent mileage with the setup he has. The straight 6 isn't a gas friendly engine but most people don't care.

Nope, because I do not own a jeep (right now) I have a old ford currently. But if I did have a jeep I wouldn't put a Dmax in it either. :) I could think of a slew of better things to spend 10k on, then a crate 4 banger.

Oh and I do not buy anything newer than 80's (for trucks). I like the old school stuff. I need something made out of metal and big enough to were I can sit in the engine bay while I work. And fix my truck with duck tape, a paper clip and moonshine! :D

Kyle B That's because modifying an engine meant to produce low end torque to meet airplane safety requirements and weigh less is a waste of time... What isn't a waste of time is just leaving the stock 4.0 in your Jeep instead of replacing it with a $8000+ Cummins that achieves similar specs...
