N'zoth was surprisingly gentle when picking Azshara up, considering he could fling her around like a ragdoll since she's dead/unconscious. But instead he was very careful when picking her up and turning her over, even providing back and head support to prevent whiplash when he yeeted out of there.

I love it when azshara looks on the floor and notice the reflection of lorthemar's robe kinda like an eye shaped old god thing, neat detail ^^

I may not play WoW anymore, but man does Nobbel keep me invested in the story! Really, really hoping for some Vol'jin resolution (they did my boy dirty) and really, really, really hoping we don't get Garrosh 3: The Re-Siege of Orgrimmar.

"The king of diamonds has been made a pawn" A literal quote from Aszhara. "Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it" Sylvanas is corrupted. --- At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our comming. ---

If they ever release Warcraft III Reforged TFT, I want Naga as a fully playable army in multiplayer.

I'm not convinced by claims that her resuscitated face shows fear/pain because of what Nzoth is going to do with her. In my opinion the partnership is still going strong, she did after all keep her end of the bargain and got him "unshackled" (no pun intended). So as far as i know this makes Nzoth think there's good in keeping her, hence the gentle revive and teleport to safety. In my opinion, if 9.0 will not be black empire themed (which would be lovely if it did), then obviously we're going to have to face Nzoth in 8.3 and i think that we'll encounter Azshara yet again. This time it will be an Azshara that's actually blessed with Old God power. Call it Void Sorceress if you want. She'll be much more powerful than the Naga Azshara. (Remember the naga-ification of her was performed by Nzoth when he was still in prison), now that he's free, and also that she's proven herself to him, old god knows what he can do with her this time. (that pun was intended). Raid-wise in 8.3, i think she's coming back bigger and stronge. She is going to be the Elisande to Nzoth's Guldan. The penultimate boss. That also plays into Blizz's promises for Sylvanas to not be another Garrosh.

My predictions are 8.2.5 and 8.3 has us dealing with Sylvanas and the gift of N'zoth 8.3.5 will see us attempting to seal N'zoth and likely failing as N'zoth raises/opens the way to Nyalotha

For all those who think the lines about her 3rd death are referring to Sylvanas I think this is completely incorrect as we have already seen her die three times. Her first obviously being at the hand of arthas, her second when she killed herself after we took down arthas and then the third which many people seem to forget when she was at the battle for Gilneas and was backstabbed by Lord Godfrey resulting in three of her Valkyrie sacrificing themselves to revive her.

So, you know we have the Elemental Lords on our side, they fought a good battle again the 4 or 5 Old Gods. So with us and the Lord of the Elements we'll take N'zoth down fine.

If Sylvanas is really the end boss then all this stuff with the eternal palace will be completely wasted and it'll show that blizzard don't have a clue how to handle the horde anymore

The Naga sounded cool at first, in the end they can only be describe "Simp Fish".

I still don't get why horde and alliance immediately went back to fighting at the start of this expansion, after allying in every single expansion since vanilla. It's almost like the entirety of azeroth is an AI whose default program to run is "alliance vs horde" and it just defaults to it after any unusual circumstance has been dealt with.

The blade didnt dissapear there is a quest line you get from doing WQ were you fight off the naga where you pick up something called 'Azharas orders' and take it to a tortollan where he leads you to a powerful artifact that the naga were ordered to find which happens to be the blade of the black empire.

What happens if everyone pledges their loyalty to Azshara?

Sylvanas has already had three deaths. Arthas, Suicide and Godfrey so I doubt it's her. As for Azshara I don't think this could even count as her second death, more likely her first one.

So, N'Zoth is going to open everyone's eyes. Oh, these poor unfortunate souls...

What if Yogg'Saron corrupted Lich King Ner'Zhul in Northrend, to make Arthas become a Death Knight, and on his way to make Sylvanas a banshee to, eventually, release N'Zoth later, and to tell to Illidan to take the Skull of Gul'Dan in reign so that he will help in destroying the Burning Legion, who were enemies of the Old Gods.

I'm not sure why Blizzard makes the option to join to Azshara when they never gave us any reason for it. Optional choice only works when they have a huge effect on the story and when there is a reason behind them, and so far staying loyal to Sylvanas or join to Azshara has proved to be completely pointless.

seein thunderbluff in the cinematic with thrall and jaina talking about it will burn reminded me of the eternal nightmar raid from legion. there was a destroyed thunderbluff to see aswell...

I really want them to fill in between Ashvane being last seen in the company of Sylvanas aboard her ship, then suddenly in the company of the Naga.

A slight correction. If the wards all are powered down, it basically causes the barrier around the platform to fail and you get crushed beneath the weight of the surrounding depths. If us losing was what it took to override the wards keeping N'Zoth imprisoned than she wouldn't say that he was wrong that we weren't worthy. The wards are keeping us alive basically. And that is actually mentioned in the journal.

Also in regards to Bwonsamdoodi, I think he has a boss akin to Hades and Thanatos. I think there is a higher "death god" that bwonsamdi answers to, and he is just a soul waylayer.

This may be a little off topic but hear me out - I was reading Tides of War and the book mentioned that Garrosh was going to, at some point, push the Night Elves out of Teldrasill and make them refugees in Eastern Kingdoms and since he had ALL the soldiers that took part in the Battle at Theramore take part in his celebration of their victory it may be possible that the Horde Leaders, except Baine and Vol'jin cause they went to Razor Hill instead, were present there which would mean Sylvanas would be at the celebration. We know what she does with Teldrasill, So what if BFA isn't a Garrosh 2.0 but rather a continuation of what Garrosh had originally planned to do before he got killed? I literally just thought about this so if there are loopholes that's why 😅

Thank you Nobbel for answering the question I had at the question of who is going to be the end boss of BfA. How many valkyr does Sylvanas have left. So even at her 3rd death, she's got a way of coming back. Unless her instance is kill 3 valks to get to her, or an ellisandre style fight where you have to kill her multiple times because of valk rezzing. That could be interesting. It wouldnt be the first time we had a final boss in 3 part format with Garrosh having multiple health pools, Ellisandre needing to be killed 3 times with her time rewind thing. So giving Sylvannas multiple health pools with valk rezzing could be interesting. I can envision an instance where she appears multiple times throughout the instance. Kill her, move forward, see a dead valk and her scampering off... its a bit of a callback to her retreat through the elf gates as Arthas pressed in on her. Kind of poetic. But only the future will tell us what the fight actually is.

biggest complaint with the story, you have basically ants fighting gods. Blizzard had you fight titans, beings of basically unlimited power, and somehow win. Ya you fought C'thun, and Yog'Saron, but that was 1/10 or so of their true power. Nzoth is completely free, to fight him would be like a rain hitting an umbrella, annoying but nothing else.

You will see, that only Sylvanas can help finish old gods because she's undead. That's the same reason Old Gods manipulated Arthas because he wasn't undead. And the same reason Anduin will fall.

Oh Boy cant wait to fight sylvanas while n.zoth powers her up. I mean we NEVER fought a warchief using old god powers before and even in Ogrimmar. Oh Boy oh boy

So, crazy theory, the next patch involves us fighting Sylvanas after she tries to destroy thunder bluff. Meanwhile, we receive quests in Northrend and Sylathus, during which we "get their too late" and a final quest in Pandaria where Ya-sharage if resurrected and the expansion ends with the return of the black empire who plan to finish corrupting Azeroth and have sent out a signal to the Void Lords to gather for the final act. Then we get a final Wow expansion dealing with the final battle against the void.

It is Sylvanas. She has died twice once by Arthas and again during the quest line in the undead starting area. If shes the final boss of BFA her 3rd death (by us) will bring in the age of the Black Empire somehow.

Also seriously want N'zoth, Azshara, and the whole Black Empire as the next expansion. WoW: The Black Empire has got a great ring to it, otherwise what else do we have. Dragon Isles? WoW: Dragon Isles just sounds like a Dragon mobile app game.

Still waiting to see if Lady Vashj will return, ahaha come on Blizz don't just leave her in SSC.

@Nobbel87 Can you make a video talking about the black dragon mentioned in the petrified ebony scale flavor text? Unless im misreading, it mentions a black dragon that was given titan essence before neltharion but i cant seem to find anything anywhere about this dragon? Is it a minor retcon of the dragon aspect titan essence gifting? Or was there a pre-neltharion earth aspect?

All these juicy lore bits...I have a mighty need! With that last piece of dialogue, I really hope this doesn’t become another Siege of Ogrimmar (or if it does, not be a copy-paste of the Garrosh version). I do wonder where the story’s gonna go, especially since Sylvanas still has some Val’kyr left and we haven’t heard from her or Nathanos since we left for Nazjatar.

This battle with N'zoth... Will we even _win_ it? There's a high chance that we might actually _lose,_ and Blizzard can do one of two things. One, we lose, all of Azeroth is destroyed and they shut down the game to start something else, or, make an entire expansion about us dealing with the aftermath of a dead planet, trying to find a way to either get off the planet, or do some crazy meta nonsense to restore Azeroth to life again. Though I think its the former. Apparently if Azeroth dies, so does all of life, creation, and _reality_ itself.

What if Sylvanas becomes a Herlad of N'zoth?

Sylvanas already died three times, right? As a high elf, between WOTLK and Cataclysm, and then during that low level Horde quest in Cataclysm again. So in theory it couldn't be her, but in practice...retcon? edit: Also, I guess if Azshara's original "death" by drowning counts (though she did seem quite alive when transformed) she'd only have 1 to go...

Assuming bliz decides that the next patch will be the last I feel like Silvi and N'zoth being part of the same raid as they stated that this won't end the same way as Panda. So I can't imagine Silvi being the final boss of this expansion and I feel like N'zoth has been built to be the final boss for this expansion for a good while now.

Did you see at 20:25 that Azsharas tattoos (or whatever this is) looks like a shape of herself? The side of the eyes are the hands and on the lower forehead is shown her head in naga form? The shoulders under her eyes, left and right of her nose?

I do think Ashvane was always with the Naga, remember that here plan to take over Kul’tiras depended on the fleet staying lost, and I also think all the problems in Kul’tiras where because of her, so she must had have work with N’zoth and the Naga since before

Any idea if we gonna see Azshara anytime soon? She was one of my favorite damn.. They really ruined it's fight. Most powerful sorcerer gets rekt by bunch of poggos thats really makes no sense.. I really expected it will be very very difficult fight like the Cthun but well bfa and game gets very much simpler solo type play. Good Lore btw it's nice to see a new video! Btw seek out the Helya / Slyvanas / Bwonsamdi / Nzoth and void lords connection i think something big will come in next expension tho we beat the titans what else can be worse than that :D

Sylvanas died by the hand of the lich king, then she committed suicide, so she would be pretty obvious for the one with the 3rd death. Personaly I would find it weird if it was Azshara they meant, since her 2nd death JUST happened... Meh, don't like where this is going...

Why would it matter if the chains are broken? The chains on Yogg-Saron were broken in Ulduar and we fought what was only a tiny part of its power. Instead of one giant eye (C'Thun), or many mouths (Yogg-Saron), we fight many eyes (N'Zoth). This could be more of the same tiny power.

I might missed something but the fact that theres a reverse mechanism that can unlock an old gods prison is kinda odd since is a titan build.

I would love to see in-depth lore analysis of the "why" everything happens instead of just narrating things we can see in-game anyway

I think 8.3 should be the focus of horde and alliance dealing with the warchief and everything. Once that is done and settled, horde and alliance should focus on N'zoth in 8.4
