I think it came way too late, they even had to come up with the Golden Great Ape to even justify it, since the golden-haired SSj forms already felt more special.

Design and powers? Ok, I hear you on design, but ssj4 didn't have any cool powers. Besides 10X kamehameha which is just recolor kamehameha, ssj4 has no powers that the other SSJ forms don't have.

I still hope they use Brolly in the story as a way to justify an alternative approach to ssj4 and actually have goku or vegeta utilize it.

Just think if he really was 80 or 90 thousand times ssj3 he's going to be atleast ssjb kaioken x20 Jirren arc. Personally I don't think its that high but the possibility is there, in anycase I firmly believe ssj4 in the GT time line is at bare minimum ssg level which is something most fans won't admit or don't want to believe.

@@smilelydogge2821 incorrect, ssj4 could absorb energy on a massive scale as seen when he faced baby's death ball, also if I'm not mistaken he can adapt to temperature attacks to where they just don't work anymore, either absolute zero or fusion reaction solar hot.

One of the big things that led people into thinking he was weaker was that he resorted to using Ssj. Back then people thought he shouldn't even do Ssj or that it was a moot form if he had Ultimate/Mystic.

Now with the new meaning of his Ultimate Form as an actual transformation, we know that it’s an actual form. Back then, it could just be explained as his new Base since it doesn’t look any different, that’s why they opted to have Gohan transform into Super Saiyan

I think Broly's wrathful form is meant to be the same thing as SSj4, they just got rid of the fur and the "Golden Ozaru" crutch that would justify its power. They then placed it below the SSj form, as it should be - and you've got a fixed canon version right there :D

GT wasn't written by Toriyama and he had very little to do with the series outside of a little bit of promotional drawings. There is no Manga written for GT and was only anime. Toriyama while he has said that he enjoyed the series he also has referred to GT as a “side story of the original Dragon Ball“. Personally although I do like the concept and design of SS4, I couldn't even get through the Black Star Dragon ball saga before I stopped watching the GT series smh just seemed like a joke to me and a comical spin off of DBZ! Personally prefer Super and the expansion of series going into the multiverse but that just my opinion. Don't see much confusion with Super other then there is alot more unknowns/mysteries that haven't been explained or dived into yet that I believe will be as the manga and animations come out. Just Personally tho the whole multiverse, GoD and Angels ect. All allow the series to go so much farther then GT ever could've gone!

golden saiyan form is a forced mutation that forced the user with extreme stamina drain(1,2 and lastly 3) ssj 4/demi-ape form/true saiyan form is a corect linear mutation. It give the user incredibly strong physical enchantment, super enhance stamina and super enhance perception, better ki control and can maintain this form indefinitely

Not exactly that impressive. We see Goku defy a wish in Z too because it went against his will. If you want to go even further beyond that, Piccolo Daimao killed Shenron in the OG Ball. However, the SSj4 transformation is waaayyyyy more powerful than people think it is. I wrote a comment breaking down what the actual multiplier is.

Ssj4 works like the other SSJ transformations. it multiples off base form. Goku and Vegeta are still equals in Gt up til Goku gets all of those crazy transformations. that’s why Vegeta wasn’t weaker when he achieved ssj4

SSJ4LB (Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker) was created when SSJ4 Xeno Goku & Vegeta received God KI from SSJB (Super Saiyan Blue) Goku & Vegeta along with SSG (Super Saiyan God) Trunks (can't remember if there was anyone else) creating SSJ4LB and in this form their fur turns into a magenta colour and their hair (I think) gains a red tint. If I remember correctly Z Broly also got this form but his hair was red like SSJ4 Gogeta for some reason.

This is a very great video discussion about SS4 Goku. You should know that the KZfaq channel "Saiyan Scholar" also did several video discussions about the GT characters' true power scaling and their growth throughout the series. He explained that during the Baby Saga a lot of the characters (both heroes and villains) were more than a thousand or million times stronger than Kid Buu (while some like Goku, Vegeta and Baby were even stronger than that).

Ofc Ss4 is relatively stronger than Blue and God . In Gt the only real and complete defeat of ssj4 is vs Omega Shenron , who is the strongest opponent of the whole saga , while in Super ... well i think we all remember how many times blue and God were defeated , in the anime , in the manga in the movies , what should have been the final sayan form took so many losses that they had to introduce UI and UE to compensate
