The Gateways program is transforming the lives of young incarcerated people. But, why is there so little help and funding for programs that help incarcerated individuals become contributing members of society? Watch to find out why this incredible program deserves and needs our help.
In many states, up to 80% of previously incarcerated youth will be rearrested and incarcerated multiple times in their life. With thousand of kids stuck in this cycle, it’s easy to see that something is broken in a system that is supposed to rehabilitate them. In this 3-part docu-series, follow activist Maya Mansour as she meets with currently and formerly incarcerated youth to hear about their experiences in the prison system and discover how one life-changing program is using education and compassion to pull youth out of this cycle.

I wrote a paper about this for English class. My professor said there's a class offered at my school that allows though incarnated and not to come together. They learn from each other similar to gateways. Long story short because of Soul Pancakes videos I'm taking that class next semester.

How can we make this scale? I don't have a ton of money but am 100% behind this.

Just share the videos, spread the word. If other programs similar pop up around the country in the future, then we are all winning.
