In today's video I review the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance and wow was it fun.
The Model 3 is Tesla's entry model electric car with a base price of around $40K. However this is the charged up version that starts around $57K and offers a whole lot of fun.
This car does 0-60 in an insane 3.1 seconds and is optioned with the subscription autopilot along with all of the cool and quirky Tesla features and games.
Put it simple its a real life toy car that people like you and me can buy and play with, horn farts and all.

The sound system is really good in this car. It sounds even better than the Mark Levinson in my Lexus.

I didn’t like the initial model 3 but now I think they are really sharp and amazing value performance model only way to go

I have a Lexus with the ML system and I like it better than my Model 3 Performance. That might be because the Lexus is so much quieter inside, though.

I installed 18inch lightweight fully forged from Martian Wheels rims also installed 8.5 LB 12V battery (original battery way too heavy 29.5LB) shaved lot's of LBS from my P3D now it's so fast improved range too

Good run down. I liked the Rati’s ride type of review without the over the top commentary. If you get a chance, get a lapel mic to improve audio quality and a go pro for alternate camera angles. Well done.

Thank you! Yes improving audio is high on my priority list as it can be difficult in editing without a mic and different camera angles as well.

A lot of my friends use Tritek Window Tinting in Garland, especially for their supercars so the Tesla shouldn't be a problem.

i will spec one just the same colors, black with white. i just can’t decide if the performance version will be too much harder than the long range with 19” wheels

If you are referring to ride quality it wasn't that bad, it had its stiffness at times but was also comfortable on a smooth road. One thing the owner mentioned is you have to look out for potholes and bumps as the wheels have already been damaged. But this is something you would do with most sports/ low vehicles.

I did get a mic after this but it corrupts every video I take so I am still trying to figure that part out, on the few times it works there barely any difference. Thank for the input.

I believe it was around 55%

Actually 5% sides. And I believe 55% front. 35% top.

Hi I have a question. Since I wanted to order a Tesla model 3 performance edition I was wondering how many miles did you get out of your first set of tires? As I have heard that the performance tires don’t have lot of lifespan as compared to 18” or 19”. Thank you.

Hard to tell as 3 of them needed to be replaced early by nails and speed bump taken too fast. Either way performance tires are going to have a shorter life than non-performance tires.
