Quick question: did you have any issue with a tight mount? The "grip" at the the base of the lens is useless to me, the lens mount is so tight I have to use the focus ring to rotate the lens when mounting and unmounting it (on an S1); makes me paranoid about micro-shavings from the overly tight fit migrating to the sensor. Your view? Thanks!

Great video mate, short and too the point. Sub from me! Just picked up the S5Mark2, but coming from the MFT world I want a smaller set up than the 50mm 1.8 and 20-60mm kit lens, it came with. Do you have any others you would recommend? I was wandering if they do a native 35mm, or a really small one to try and turn the camera into an everyday street photography machine 🤣

That’s amazing! The S52 is awesome. I haven’t use a ton of smaller lenses, but you might really like a LUMIX 50mm 1.8. Really nice, easy walk around lens.

Hey Nolan I found your Channel Via Reddit :) I am from Germany I use also the S5. This small Lens is probably considered the Price Good. But sure not better than the Lumix 50mm. Are you a Fulltime Freelancer with the S5?

Definitely not better than the LUMIX 50. Great to meet you Paul! At this point I’m a part time freelancer but I do a lot of video work for my job as a marketer/communications director.

I think this lens has crop sensor coverage only meaning you have to use APS-C mode when shooting video with it on the S5, therefore it will behave more like a 75-80mm as shown in this review.
