Everyone of your videos are amazing, i am in awe of your complete technical knowledge, and the way you have time whilst fixing someone's car to go through your thaught process , and tell us exactly why and how you are working your way through it .you are an absolute genius, and me as an outsider to the automotive trade is astonished at everything you do , I never knew you did this in your spare time , and that you work nights when not doing this , you are a very very hard working man , down to earth . lmsvvavr I currently have factory tools for Honda, Ford , Gm ,Chrysler, Toyota, Kia/Hyundai, BMW. AutoLogic, Abrites (real), Autel old and new, Launch Pad2, VCDS, I have an Orange Box , VVDi workhorse , and probably too much to remember, but you have things I don't have, and some I don't need because we don't have the vehicles here in the states. But for a part timer you have a great collection

Thanks for the video. Yes it's true that hundreds of results can be found for these tools by searching on google, but the problem is that for someone new to subject it is frustratingly difficult to know where to buy from, what version to buy, whether to buy a cheaper clone or an original (in fact even how to know what is a clone and what is original), what extras are needed etc etc. If you did a 'buyers guide' type video for some of the more widely used scanners (e.g Op-com & Clip) where you give more detailed info on the above questions, I am sure that such a video would be very welcome and help maintain and widen your audience. Thanks

Hi Yes, I understand the frustration... I have been there, well I still to honest... I would say, genuine tools is always the best choice... but can be very expensive very quickly... specially if you are only a car enthusiastic... The Peugeot Citroen tool is called diagbox, has pp200 and lexia, a 2 in one.

The fiat cable will only do certain fiats, you need the adapters too.

Your video is a testament to the case for auto manufacturer's to move to a common standard like ethernet to connect to vehicle computers and analyze and program them. Unfortunately each manufacturer has come up with their own unique system and even they change them periodically necessitating a new "device" in order to communicate with them. A sad state of affairs.

Hi there, i'm relatively new subscriber and already Huge fan - awesome job and great lessons. I have two questions: 1.didn't get your name yet. 2.i owned a few peugeot and recently bought a citroen 2012 - for more advance features would you recommend to use an Autel or the diagbox is the only solution ( will a clone work for calibrating and programming stuff?) Hi My name is Luis. Definitely Diagbox... clone does pretty much everything, however, being a 2012 flashing is all online... Other than that, Autel is quite comprehensive on PSA... and will give you the option to work on other cars... It is a personal choice really... Thank you for watching and for your comment!

Hi which tools would I need to reprogram an ECU on a 2004 Vauxhall Meriva? I watched your video on it and it was good, but it just mentioned Vaux Com software but what leads etc would I need to plug into my car or can an OBD reader suffice? hey, thanks for all your info shared, very helpful 🤗🤗🤗 An advice please 😁 I want to buy a multi vehicle scan tool ≤ 300 £, and I saw iCarsoft CR PRO with lot of good reviews, some are saying that is the best choise quality-price ratio now. Do you know something about it, have you ever tried? I want to use it for my current need - Opel (not Vauxhall, idk if there are/aren't major differences) 2012 year, A17DTS engine code for delete DTCs like lambda probe faults, oil changes, spark plug faults, but on the other hands, I'd like to be able to use it in the near future in case I'll change the car. If you suggest something else under or equal with this price, please reply Thank you ! 🙂

Hi I would probably look for something different... However, I never used that tool, so can't really comment... For 300 you can definitely get something reasonable... Look on the launch and foxwell range... Not sure what is available on the Autel.... Thank you for watching!

Gerardas Nausutis Hi First of all thank you for watching! You are absolutely right, due to this being a part time, most of my tools are under "china" ones... but, there is China and China.... I am quite happy with all my ones... If you do this for a living though, I would probably try genuine tools... mainly do yo reliabireliability and support... Hope that helps..

Mambre Khachatryan Hi Well... That's a tricky one... lol I have Autodata, and Vivid as my general source for diagrams... Then I have sedre for Peugeot and Citroën. Vauxhall up to 2011... the rest I do like everyone else... Google... Lastly, I just follow the wires... I know... is not the most time effective way... I am trying to get hold of other systems... Hope that helps....

The name of the blue and yellow is actia Xs, uses multidiag. I’m guessing your vas 5054a is actually a vas 6154 head, is the cable a vcx nano. And it’s not not ‘digital’ can, it’s dual line can.

Hi, you saved my wife's Peugeot 207 a few weeks ago by helping me out with a wiring issue. Now the front sidelights have failed, which I suspect is related to the marron multiplug. Do you have a fix video showing the wire and fuse that control this circuit? Many thanks, Mike.

The car is a Peugeot 207 verve 1.4 petrol. It's a 2009 model. I can't find the RPO/DAM number but can let you know the VIN if that will help. I'd rather not post my email on a public forum so I'd appreciate it if you could post a reply here please. Thanks, Mike.

Antoine Anatole Hi I am not familiar with bike ecus... however, it can't be that different from cars... Some of the programmers, like K-tag for example, have a menu for bikes... Normal universal programmers, like x-prog etc... can also be helpful!

Soufian Attar Hi It all depends on what you want to do... PP2000 and Clip... For OEM stuff... then perhaps x-prog... Unless you want to do something really specific... Hope that helps...

Your doing things the long winded way. You only need 1 laptop and a plug in optical drive to swap your drives.

@@jonnybgud0310 Yes... I actually have a separate system for Mazda and Ford... I don't do many land Rover... so haven't felt the need to get JLR installed yet...
