I'm a white middle aged man and I love funk, soul and hip hop in addition to classic rock, so I would be quite hurt if someone assumed I did not like them because I am white. At the end of the day, this channel is quite reasonably focussed on classic rock as it would be impracticable to cover all genres of music. For newbies, a quick glance at the reviews confirms this. Please don't change anything about the channel. I love it, including the humour and puns.

I very much enjoyed this episode! I find the trolls rather amusing. I tend to have it out with them when I leave comments. It's usually some Gen-Z who read Wikipedia on some older band and feel they are now experts. They usually end up telling me to go f*** myself then proceed to take their comments down. I get a kick out of it but I'm lucky they don't troll my KZfaq channel but that's probably because I only have 3 subscribers!😆

As much as I enjoy your videos and your put downs I think the best way to deal with these trolls is to just to ignore them. Suck the life out them by not giving oxygen to their comments. You have plenty of subscribers who appreciate what you do for those of a certain musical persuasion. You don’t make videos about those that make positive comments about your work so why bother about the lowlifes who are intellectually below the ability of a slug. If you bite back at their comments they win if you don’t they will continue to be nobodies.

As an American (but rarely a loudmouth like some of my countrymen) I love this channel! I have "kept listening" to Classic Album Review since 2022 and I don't see one reason to stop now. I always look forward to the notification telling me that there is a new video here. I know that a lot of people write negative stuff because they are deeply unhappy, but some of this stuff is just insane. Keep up the good work man, and to hell with the trolls!

Excellent video. As it relates to Waters and how so many people go straight for the politics instead of actual merit - there is a time and place for politics, so read the room people. I don't care for Water's politics much & so what. The reason I have a diminishing appreciation for him is because of his art - the Dark Side Redux was long in the tooth & ill advised. Why in the world would you watch a channel that is not focused on your preferred choice of music and then basically call the creator a racist? I’m honestly perplexed. Great stuff Barry! Keep up the good work

George Carlin said something like, "There are two knobs on a radio; one changes the channel and the other turns it off." In response to one of his recordings getting censored by the religiously outraged. I guess if one is drunk, angry, isolated, lonely, bitter, etc. one feels compelled to make a fool of oneself online rather than scroll past. As I am usually 4 out of 5 of those things. I get the temptation but ultimately don't see the fun or profit in it. (except for antagonizing vegans, but that's shooting fish in a barrel.)
