Ultimate Guide to Facebook Reels
This is your ultimate guide to facebook reels. Today I’m going to be showing you how to make a reel, save a reel, search reels, delete reels and get paid for reels. It’s a lot but after watching this video you will be a reels expert!
First what are Facebook Reels and where are they available? Reels is currently available in the US, CA, IN, and Mexico. More countries will be getting it in the coming months.
UPDATE: REELS is now available worldwide! Facebook just announced today (February 22, 2022).
Facebook Reels are short vertical videos. They can only be 30 seconds long unlike the 60 seconds you have available with Instagram reels or KZfaq shorts.
Including Reels in your Facebook Marketing strategy is a great idea since Reels is where you are most likely to be shown to a larger audience.

Hi Andrea. Enjoying your presentation style and your info. Great. Would be very grateful if you could please clarify. I need to place a CTA to get people directly through to my Landing Page. Is this possible using either FACEBOOK REELS or YOU TUBE by means of a specific CTA Button (not a general sticker which says FOLLOW) or even by just having an URL which can be clicked on to send traffic to my Landing Page? Great video! Do you know where to find the breakdown on the bonuses like taxes? Also, I know their closing fate is the end if each month but each program runs until like the 11th of the next month. So what happens to that extra money? Mine didn’t roll over. I actually noticed they have been withdrawing about 20% each time. Did it happen to you? Thank you!

My fb used to let me do 60 sec reels now it’s only allowing 30. Is that new?

Hi! Yes just 30 seconds now for Reels on Facebook. I believe it happened within the last year, but the features are not the same for everyone. Meta announced the other day that they are changing Instagram Reels to 90 seconds. The only thing you can ever know for sure is they will change the program on you!

How does one make the audio or music as long as the reel. Mine cuts off at 3secs. Mine is a photo flip. It place thru the review of the reel but when posted to fb it cuts off after first photo and 3secs.

Hi! I got an invitation today and I am super excited. I wonder if there is such a thing as over posting reels? I have been making youtube shorts and IG reels for just over 9 months now, so I have a bunch of reels that I can post but I wonder if I should post them all at once or 5 a day etc. (Ik there is a 150 reel cap). Just wonder what your opinion is. TIA!

Wow congrats on the invite, that is exciting! Honestly I have no idea. I have seen people who have successful accounts and they post multiple times per day. If I were in your place I would probably create a bunch of reels, but schedule them to go out once a day at the same time. Then if you have enough to schedule out at least a week, I'd double them up to twice a day and so on. Let me know how the program is going for you! I followed your channel because I love learning Spanish. :)

Question! My friend has all of the reel options that you have - including the length, green screen, etc. but I'm missing some of those features! I can't upload reels longer than 30 seconds and I have no idea why! Do you know if there is a limit? I don't think it's right that I'm limited on the type of content I can create when others aren't...Especially when I'm sharing valuable information!

Yes you can! This video may help: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ba-afK6ry9zPdps.html. If you make your Reel in a program such as Capcut, you can add a sticker at the end that serves as a call to action. You could add a short ending screen with a call to action...You could also add a link in the comments. Hope that helps!

@@marketingwithandrea Hi, thank you so much for your kind reply re Cap Cut. I took note of your suggestion regarding Stickers in your Cap Cut URL. My specific query, however, is that I am not so much looking for a button or sticker for followers, but for a CTA button on Facebook Reels which the reader would click on in order to take the reader directly through to my Landing Page. Is this possible on Reels (and perhaps on KZfaq Shorts?) Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

This was very fruitful. Do you know why I don't have many options from Facebook real like editing clips, effects, etc.. While my sun has all of this option, I couldn't find the sharing real icon from Instagram to Facebook, Also, my son account has this option. I hope you can answer

I came back to watch again and noticed I do not have the editing functions like you showed on yours. I have the sidebar with audio, etc… but not the bottom bar to edit a video.

I have a question in regard to our FB reels. When we upload it to FB, the reels quality is going low, we upload 1080p to 2k resolution videos, and we can't figure out why Facebook is reducing the quality of the videos. Maybe you have some fix about this problem? Thank you.

FB Reels (9x16 ratio) are randomly recommended on FB related to a hashtag someone might follow...? The goal of possibly gaining the attention a new audience / get new followers? While FB Videos are for current followers of your page.... Wondering if its worth the effort to switch from publishing FB videos (16x9 ratio) for now. Can you use the music from reels for your fb video?

Is Facebook Reel confined within regional restrictions in term of content outreach? I am based in Malaysia and I am seeing all local contents in my Reel. So I started with reels about 3 weeks ago. I got thousands of views and about 40 followers now. Started it on my personal page and have more views and followers than I have on Facebook account. So I when to Facebook bonus program to get an invite and it did not show up to be monetize. No violations on the account. Don’t know why. Was it because I start it on my personal page?

Yes of course! My latest video has a free giveaway where you can download an overlay to place on your Reel that encourages people to like and follow. You can also just work it into your script at the end of your Reel. You can also put a link in the description or comments.

That does seem to be the way to get into the program right now. And yes, you can make a page that is not technically a business, but more of a brand. This article should help: facebook.com/creators/get-started. However, there is talk from Facebook about allowing people to turn their personal profiles into a "creator" profile. Personally I would prefer to do that, BUT that is "invite only" right now. Very frustrating I know.
