How did everything in Naruto happen? Black Zetsu and Hashirama cells

My theory on Naruto, is that as soon as Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi emerged from Sasuke's Sussanoo, they immediately fell under the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and everything after the war arc is Naruto's dream. Madara actually won, Black Zetsu was never the creator of all Shinobi history, and Boruto isn't real.

Regarding Obito's declaration of war, keep in mind that at the time, none of the five nations had any idea where "Madara's" base even was, and they would only learn after Kabuto allowed a team to follow him there. His initial plan was likely to make use of Zetsu's undetectable shapeshifting to tear the five nations apart from within, rather than face them on an open battlefield. Prior to Gaara's dramatic speech, they were already at each other's throats anyway.

This theory about Zetsu projecting negative feelings for his plans is too smart for Kishimoto to have come up with it. It works only because Kishimoto left so many plot holes the size of craters that we can fill them up nicely with theories.

I think a major part of naruto fans didn't pay attention to some very short key scenes and dialogues. Like the people who believe that Kakashi actually defeated Obito even though he said that his intention was to get Kakashi to use his chidori on his chest to remove Madara's seal. Let's take a look at Danzo's actions and why they add up: -Forming the Anbu-Ne: he didn't get to become Hokage, he mentioned that he was quite salty about it in the beginning but then he realized that if the Hokage is the one who protects the leaf in the light, someone needs to protect it in the dark and do all the dirty job. Basically what a ninja actually is. -Danzo did a bunch of important shit in the universe other than the ones related to the uchiha massacre. For instance: he is the one who commanded the Leaf into making an alliance with Hanzo and which led to all the shit we see with Nagato. -About stealing Shisui's eyes: seriously, Shisui said he was so powerful he could convince the ENTIRE Uchiha clan into not going to war. How TF are you going to trust someone of this sort? He knew that Shisui could be basically controlling the elders and the Hokage without them even knowing. The only way to prevent anything of this sort for good would be if himself or anyone like the hokage to have that power. Was a bitch move, but it still makes a lot of sense especially considering he justified his actions in the manga with this very same reason. Now, a thing or two about Obito: -No, he did not start the war because of Rin. Gosh, he stated a bazillion times that her death wasn't the real reason, it was more like something that opened his eyes and made him agree with Madara's plan. He even said that he knew Rin's death wasn't Kakashi's fault, and that the hidden Mist was controlling her and everything else. In the end his ultimate goal was to go with the whole infinite Tsukyomi thing.

Danzo exists because kishimito wanted to make itachi secretly a good guy in part 2 despite all the nonsense that he pulled in part 1. so he rewrote the uchiha murder to be an order, and Needed a leaf bad guy to have given that order to make itachi be a good guy, because having the third hokage give that order himself i guess would have been too much for fans, even though they are ninjas and slaughtering the uchiha clan is what ninjas would do. that said, danzo could have been handled better after his introduction, but kishimito had nothing left for him beyond giving someone for saskue to seek revenge on since having saskue kill innocent ninjas would make him irredeemable, even though Saskue did murder the samurai when he invaded their home but everyone ignores, that so we will too. Danzo doesnt make sense because hes a conplex character who was killed off before any of his backstory or motivations could be properly handled because the writer needed something for saskue to do because saskue is a one note i "quest for revenge" character. Danzo filled that purpose in the story, and was disposed of after he served his role, the same way count dooku was in the star wars prequels. Then because kishimito wanted to make itachi and shisui even more heroic, they retroactively made Danzo even more of a bad guy, such as having him pursue shisui to obtain his eye for no reason. so instead of having an interesting tywinn lannister ruthless and cunning character, he just became more of a shallow power hungry villain. in concept, Danzo is great, including his original "by any means approach" and his powers. in execution, he was a failed character, like obito and so many others.

But hey That's just a theory An Anime Theory!!!

I feel like the manner in which they bring about Kaguya is just all over the place. I get Danzo was necessary for certain plotholes but other stuff just didnt add up to me: Okay yeah Obito declares war over some booty he never got, but then decides to aid in the murder of the whole clan he was akin to? Then Kishimoto wrote himself into a corner by Madara being the correct amount of badass so the solution is to introduce an EVEN MORE OP villian? Oh but lets turn her into the emotional equivalent of a potato, because that always works. It wouldve just been better to have Naruto and Sasuke use the AssPull Jutsu against Madara, and wait until Boruto came to introduce Kaguya in another manner than just morphing her literally out of a guy's ass...

I don't think people realize how long it probably took you to edit this all... But it definitely added to the already great video x10

I think what the anime fails to CLEARLY acknowledge is that Black Zetsu merely steered and manipulated the events of key figures and their negative emotions, they were already acting on their OWN free will and Zetsu was just pointing their anger in the direction that would later benefit his goals. I don't like how they just made it out like he orchestrated everything and controlled every thought each character had, when clearly you can see they were thinking and acting for themselves and just drew them out through manipulation and whispers (like the devil on the shoulder). THAT would have been a more compelling story to get behind instead of the "he was the master puppeteer that controlled everyone's actions and thoughts" making the whole of the Naruto series a fucking lie and irrelevant/redundant.

i have a question: how has one piece managed to keep a decent(ish) power escalation while naruto went from like literally nothng to being able to probably destroy the world if he wanted to

Here's another thought on the whole controlled Danzo thing. The Uchiha massacre may have also been one of Zetsu's objectives, because since it's Uchihas who can gain the Rinnegan/control the tailed beasts, its obvious that if he kept them around, they might end up interfering with the plan. Thus after the whole Kyuubi attack caused by Obito, he may have not only leaned Danzo as well as the rest of the village to be suspicious of them, but even increase the stress and anger of the Uchiha clan itself in order to set up the massacre, all just to avoid having them interfere with the plan.

i like danzou because i think he is only a dude that thougt that sarutobi was weak in decisions and would put konoha in risk, but danzou would did anything to protect konoha, even murder an entire clan and colect useful resources from them, like danzou said "if sarutobi was the leaves that receive all the warm and light i will protect konoha from the roots"

Zetsus plot definitely could just be an asspull, but the way he said he shaped shinobi history, at least to me, does kind of imply some kind of supernatural ability that allows him to manipulate others at a ridiculously high level.

I actually really liked Danzo. He’s a very interesting antagonist, being on the “good guys” side whilst being in opposition to both protagonists. He was the one who did all the dirty work the leaf village wanted to do but couldn’t be publicly seen doing. Yeah he should’ve had a lot more development, but he at least had a more consistent role in the story than kaguya.

Here's a theory for you to look into and it involves orochimaru... sorry if it's kinda long..... Basically orochimaru is the most mysterious character in the anime we know little to nothing of his origin... my theory is what if orochimaru is similar to mitsuke... Basically what if orochimaru is a creation of tobirama the same way mitsuke is a creation of orochimaru.... there are a lot of clues that can point to it... for one orochimaru has a great admiration for tobirama and tobirama is a lot like danzo in a way as he is not afraid of doing the dirty work. Tobirama did a lot of experimenting with forbidden techniques(including Edo tensei). If you look at how orochimaru interacted with sasuke and mitsuke it's almost like he is doing a psychological case study to see how they deal with emotional trauma and stress... and tobirama had his own theory on the effects of emotional trauma on the uchiha clan... If you look at log(the older mitsuke) and the boss shin clone they are both adults and unless artificial beings age faster than my guess is he has been working on those experiments for a long time quite possibly before shippuden or earlier because they don't seem to far from age as naruto and sasuke... And if you go back to the war arc orochimaru stated that he wasn't interested in "this war" meaning he had a level of foresight to know the outcome and was looking beyond what was taking place which is why he was so calm throughout... If you look at the mitsuke episode when we are first introduced to log orochimaru displays and knack for acting and deception... he orchestrated that entire scenario to see what mitsuke' s reaction would be in hopes he would choose his own path... And if you go back to the war arc he kinda had that same curiosity when is came to sasuke when he kept saying that he is only curious to see the choices sasuke makes... That leaves me to believe that his entire relation ship with sasuke was another orchestrated scenario to test his psyche... maybe to disprove tobirama's initial theory of uchihas decending into darkness... maybe he was testing that with the right scenario and stimuli that an uchiha can be redeemed... Maybe orochimaru is the legacy of the second hokage... hashirama had the will of fire but maybe tobirama had his own will... a darker will that he wanted to be passed down... let's face it the guy was a cynic and a pessimist... he operated on the old mindset of don't trust anybody so maybe he never believed in hashirama's vision at all and took counter measures to be a sort of check to how hashirama wanted the shinobi world to operate... I know it's seems like a bunch of random thoughts but I can only do so much in a comment I'm just hoping you can take it and run with it from here so if you see this comment just like it to let me know.

Danzo had the balls to take the road less traveled for the sake of the village. Yes, his methods were more extreme, but it was because he truly believed that the village should be above everything else -above any clan, person, or ideology. The truth is, the 3rd hokage was a really shitty leader. Proof: instead of educating people about the sacrifice of the 4th, and how Naruto is the legacy of that sacrifice, and how they should therefore treasure Naruto, he let the kid live his childhood life practically on his own and be ostracized by society. Even Naruto confirmed that he's never lived with anyone. The 3rd hokage was a shitty leader, weak-willed, and lacked the balls to do what was necessary. He couldn't even kill Orochimaru when he had the chance. Danzo > 3rd Hokage

Also Obito didn't want to revive Madara back and it was hinted throughout the anime that he didn't want to sacrifice his life for him. Originally Madara's plan was for Obito to make Nagato revive him back from the dead, But Nagato betrayed them and used *Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique* (Gedo Art of Rinne Rebirth) to revive everyone he killed in Konoha, that means the only way to revive Madara (at the time) was too implant the Rinnegan and use the Samsara (which will cost Obito HIS life). Obito was fine declaring a Ninja War with just an army of Zetsu, I think this was down to his own arrogance and over confidence. He planned to continue the Moon Plan by obtaining the Bijuu and becoming the 10 Tail Jinchuriki though. Obito isn't Madara's will incarnated, instead Madara charged this young kid up with words and manipulated events in where he showed him how corrupt this world is which traumatized the kid and he developed his own ideals around what he saw, Madara was merely a catalyst but they shared the same vision. Kabuto showing up with Tobirama's version of reincarnation (Edo Tensei) was literally a spanner thrown into the works. He didn't expect that and was more stunned to see Madara's casket. When Madara and Obito first meet, Obito was surprised to see Madara (when Kabuto undid the Edo Tensei) and wasn't expecting to see him. Even Madara could tell something was up with Obito and had a feeling that Obito had changed their original agreement.

It was actually _highly unlikely_ that it would work since he could only use it on Fugaku and since it's shown that for a long ass time Fugaku was one of the more reasonable Uchiha and was the one trying to stop the Uchiha from being angry at the village. One guy wasn't going to stop the coup and this is a whole fucking clan that specializes and can see through most genjutsu, someone would've picked something up or caught Shisui out and he would've been killed or exiled or something for being a traitor and the Uchihas' suspicion towards the village would've only increased and the civil war would've happened anyways. Danzo did what was arguably the most logical thing, even if it was cruel, since his only other option aside from Shisui's plan was Hiruzen's simple-minded bullshit of "uhuh w-why don't we just try talking to them lol"

This would ALSO explain Sasuke´s psycopathic behavior in the 5 kage arc. I love Sasuke, he is my favourite character ever (Swagkage´s video summs it up although I don´t agree with one point), but he was WAY out of character there. I mean, the laugh, killing all those people. This should explain it and also have a slight reducer in Sasuke´s sentence in the end of the series

I actually do like Danzo but that's mostly because he's one of the few ninja in the show that actually act and operate like a ninja would. Ninja in the world of naruto is more defined as chakra user than anything else so you might as call them wizards. Naruto is as much a ninja as Goku is.

I like canon Danzo about as much as I like canon Naruto. Head Canon Danzo says Danzo is the part of the Leaf Village that makes them appear as "Dictator Lite" compared to the other villages. It's genius really.

we should of got naruto akkippuden with danzo as hokage then have sasuke kill him. if I made danzo he would be op and wreck sasuke on the bridge, so he have to come back in akkippuden to fight him more powerful than Ems war arc sasuke. there is a lot I would of used danzo for and he would've been used to push sasuke really over the edge, like taking and using his father/mother eyes and a whole heap of flashbacks sasuke learns that besides being powerful this guy can't possibly come back to the light he will become the next madara. not because of so6p Rinnegan power scaling bullshit he will earn it
