Nah, we have Sharingan. Ninjutsu? Nah, we have Sharingan Getting into tight spot? Sharingan gets new powers becaue plot demands so. Rinnegan is some legendary dojutsu? Nope, evolution of Sharingan. Cannot get Rinnegan? Use hacks. Taking time to learn Sharingan-based techniques? Nope, it's like innate abillity (i've yet to see an Uchiha actually practicing in that regard). I'm dead? Nope, Izanagi. I lost my eyes? No problem, writer doesn't care. Uchiha will still fight as if he possesed the eyes and even use fucking susanno, which require both eyes for work, without his fucking eyes Seriously, take sharingan away from them and they're nothing.

Yet another reason why I didn't like the war arc. Basically unless you: - Have a Sharingan - Use woodstyle or - Are a Jinchuriki you're pretty much just a useless side character who spends the entirety of the war arc getting bodied, and the only major exception to this is Might Guy.

It's ridiculous how the Susanno is comparable to the Kyuubi. That means most Uchiha have the potential to be as strong as the nine tailed jinchuuriki.

Remember when Naruto was a series about the coming-of-age story about a boy who was rejected by his village due to a past event involving a giant kitsune, and wanted respect by aiming to become the leader of the village and earn the respect of his peers? Sometimes I wonder if Kishimoto forgot what the name of the series was.

What I never understood is how come Sharingan is stronger than Byakugan if latter is main Dojutsu of Otsutski Clan, which are ancestors to all Shinobi. I know that Byakugan and Hyuga Clan will be more explored in Boruto series, but that still doesn't change the fact that they made Byakugan useless in Original and Shippuden.

The sad thing is that the very first arc was about a bloodline limit: Ice elemental, and Haku's backstory was about the tragedy of ninja clans that had these bloodlines, because the overpowered overhype was real and could get you killed... And then, no matter how clever Sasuke and Naruto were, it was Naruto unlocking chakra from Kyuubi that finally let him overpower Haku. Meanwhile, Kakashi needed his movement-copying Sharingan to keep up with Zabuza... At this point.... Are WE the fools for ever thinking the show was about "hard-workers" like Rock Lee, Neji, and Sakura? Sakura's always considered useless, no matter how practical she is, Rock Lee has no subplot in the story and Neji died. But we've known from the first episode that Naruto had an Infinity +1 Chakra pool on which to draw to perform jutsu far above his skill level, giving him a cheatcode that he spams mercilessly. My catchphrase back in the day was "Kishimoto spent 2.5 chapters explaining how the Sharingan works, he could spare time to explain (insert plot hole here)!" Yes, Kishimoto Inceptioned the idea into our heads, a bit recklessly and irresponsibly, but are we just projecting our desire to see hard work trump natural talent and advantage? Kishimoto did a good job of writing NARUTO'S training and development (well, up until a 3-year time skip still has him needing clones to make Rasengan) and writing that FOR NARUTO, hard work would get him results because a naturally-talented kid still needs to study... I don't think he ever really intended to deceive us that Naruto didn't have a destiny. I suspected from the beginning that he was the Fourth's son, we knew from the beginning that he had an advantage over other students with the Kyuubi's chakra and once Legendary Warriors started pledging themselves as Naruto's mentors, it was kinda hard to consider Naruto just some street urchin who was trying to make his way in the Shinobi world. He was clearly a child of destiny and privilege... Kishimoto just insisted on gilding his story with fake tragedy that he never bothered to explain because he knew he had no way to. (Who feed baby Naruto? Who changed his diapers? The Third Hokage HAD to have had a guardian care for Naruto, like Yashimaru did for Gaara, but Kishimoto refused to show this at all because he wanted as much artificial sentimentality for Naruto as possible, keeping up the image of the street urchin he had from the original Naruto pilot chapter, and every logical detail that should have been in Naruto's life was pushed to Gaara and Killer Bee. Great points on how, from a narrative perspective, it is only logical that most Uchiha we know are overpowered... I think.... at the end of the day.... the only problem I have with Pein vs Naruto and Sasuke vs Madara Uchiha is that none of this actually has to DO with Naruto. I thought, WAY back in the day, that all this Madara hype meant that Sasuke would be put under pressure, even from Madara himself, to kill Naruto for ultimate power and to see Naruto as nothing more than the vessal for Kyuubi. But, honestly.... by the end of it... no one even gave a shit that Naruto was the Kyuubi's jinchuriki. There wasn't even any drama behind his FRIEND'S discovering he was the Kyuubi's host... Which... makes... all that fucking "swinging alone at the tree" melancholy.... artificial bullshit. The whole reincarnation theme that was shoehorned into the story later on destroys the concept of characters like Sasuke and Naruto growing stronger and succeeding on their own merits, and therefore makes them feel like the consequences of some weird cosmic nepotism thing which undermines how relatable and likable they were. In my opinion the Mangekyo Sharingan is way too powerful. I like the idea of a More Powerful Sharingan with Drawbacks like Blindness, but that Perfect Susanoo Shit is just way too OP. bruh i just wish they did more with the byakugan in shippuden and made it on par with the sharingan. basically if you have the sharingan you got a mfin tailed beast or the equivalent.

I am actually surprised that so few uchihas have the mangekyou. Before the end of shippuden, the world was full of wars and conflict. So, during these wars, some uchihas may have been fatally wounded and their best uchiha friends could very well “end their Pain” and unlock the mangekyou. Kinda hard to believe that Fugaku was the only known Uchiha in Konoha to have it.

To be fair, to get as strong as they are there is a lot of fuckery the characters go through to reach the god tier. Most of them involve sever mental trama, eye ripping, family killing, and being the reincarnation of some Half-Alien's kid.

I kinda hate how overpowered the sharingan had become by the end. The point of the series used to be about exploiting other people's weak spots to win. Do you want to surpass base level Sharingan? Be able to do something the opponent cannot replicate! Wanna veat Gaara's ultimate defense? Be inhumanly fast! Wanna beat the Mangekyo Sharingan? Well, the more it's used, the more chakra it consumes and it also leads to blindness! The Byakugan? It has a blind spot! Hidan's immortality! The ritual is so complicated that once you alnalyze it, you can beat him really quickly! But when they started throwing out Eternal Mangekyo Sharingans and breaking their own rules, it all fell apart.

The problem with the ending of Naruto was it completely betrayed what the story was supposed to be about. The story, originally was about an underdog who through his hard work, was going to be hokage and get everyone's recognition. Then kishi fucked it up by making hi m the fourth's son, the child of prophecy, and ashura's reincarnation. Which tells us, the viewer, that he was never an underdog and he was destined for greatness. Also, since the Uchiha were so powerful, he had to match that power, potholes be damned.

I prefer the Byakugan, it's more powerful than the standard 3 blades Sharingan and you're born with it (unless you're born after Kishimoto changed his mind because he forgot giving one to Boruto and Himawari), and it's not required to "upgrade it" to make it stronger, unless you want the Tenseigan, in which case you need to just find an Otsutsuki member and take his eyes and combine them with your own, which makes you a demi-god.

One thing that I want to clear up is that Kakashi's Sharingan CAN do that. It wasn't explained too well in the series, but the basic Mangekyo power of each eye is to be able to open portals with the eye being the point of origin. We see both eyes being able to do so at different points in time, with the common denominator being that the portals were extending from the eye itself. The unique ability of the left eye was the ability to project these portals at a distance, while the unique ability of the right eye was intangibility through being able to send certain parts of your own body to the Kamui dimension. The reason why Kakashi didn't warp himself there sooner is the same reason why you wouldn't shoot yourself with an rpg. To his knowledge, it was simply a vacuum that sucked up or destroyed everything. But, with Obito, he was only able to make a portal from his eye, so it would have been easier for him to discover that he could send himself through the portal. I hope this was a good read.

I don't know why this hasn't been addressed by any of the Uchiha clan videos I have seen, it might exist but I have not seen it yet, but it must be said that the Uchiha clan itself can't all be that much of a powerhouse because Itachi was singlehandedly able to kill all of them in one night with pretty much no opposition. He killed them all besides Sasuke, Shisui who comitted suidide and of course Obito and Madara. This means that of the Uchiha who were present in Konoha at the time, nobody was anywhere near Itachi's level. The only one who came kinda close was his dad but Itachi still killed him. I get that Itachi was a prodigy but you're telling me there was not one single other clan member who was kinda decent enough to give him a little trouble or maybe even escape? You can't base the power of the Uchiha clan on only the 4 members that the story focuses on. If the clan as a whole was that powerful then there would be more Uchiha alive.

I think it was fine, it shows that one person can accomplish a lot but together you can accomplish more. Also I like how their power reflects how they lost love and that's how the power is awakened.
