MC5, King Crimson, Bad Co., Captain Beefheart, Blue Öyster Cult, Television, Grand Funk, Humble Pie, Mountain, Steppenwolf, Iggy Pop, Johnny Winter and many more would already have been in the rock hall if the nominees were selected on merit. Clearly, that is not the case. So forget about that stupid museum.

Personally I think that the critics get a sick satisfaction out of putting rappers and R&B artists over actual rock musicians. It just lowers the legitimacy of the Rock Hall, so the joke is on them. Before anyone jumps to judgement, if BET had a Hall of Fame, would they induct Kraftwerk, Aerosmith, King Crimson, Queen, The Turtles, Buffalo Springfield, Lou Reed etc; even though these artists/bands have been sampled by million selling rap albums? Think about it…

Probably because singer Lou is a right wing christian. HOF is a joke with their rappers and country stars included. I never watch it or the grammys or the oscars or the Kardashians, the Voice, AGT, all these pre determined scripted shows.
