Even though construction appears to have had a lull …. It doesn’t seem like that from the ground …. There’s probably no other place in the world that is mastering expansion and growth like the Villages …. Love your videos THANK YOU - great job …

Thanks for the best info on the new construction at Richmond. Very hard to get any info on this. Hacienda Hills must be a big secret too. Lol

Thanks for the great Richmond footage - I would love for this construction area to be retail, but everyone here in Richmond is saying it will be homes - I guess we’ll know for sure very soon - the area north of the construction area up to 44 is what people say will be retail (there is a sign posted in this area about commercial/professional lots for sale) - but there is no earth movement in that area yet.

Hi. I have a screenshot I took straight from the villages from July of ‘22 that shows this section including each lot on it, the streets, ponds, etc. I was hoping to post it here but I don’t think I’m able to post a picture. This was later removed by the Villages. Then we’ve had the land sitting empty all this time. I will tell you the screenshot I took of the entire layout they presented of that section looks nothing at all at what we are seeing done in this video. So it’s obvious they changed their initial plans for this land.

They do that so often. I thought they were building a big rec center there originally. I know the area just south of 44 has that commercial retail sign on it but it’s a strange area so I don’t know how much action they’re getting on that.

The restaurant with live music on the lake next the lake Okahumpka recreation center will be open this time next year - according to the restaurant owner. He said late ‘24 100%.

I’ve driven by that construction several times, and I agree, it has to be COMMERCIAL They’re digging deep holes/foundations. If you know WHAT is going in there, please let us know. I can’t find anything on it. I agree … love Brownwood ♥️ I live in Newell And I can’t wait until they open the golf cart lanes on the Southern Oaks (Bexley) bridge. I have to drive my golf two TWO MILES past and TWO MILES back to go to Magnolia Plaza and all the executive courses on the other side of the turnpike … sucks! 😡

Definitely does not look like residential. I know they spoke about it being retail and there were signs posted for commercial leases available but they change plans quickly

I was told villas by a Villages sales rep very recently. But..after watching a million hours of aerial views from Papa Pineapples and Good Wingnut - I agree, it doesn’t look like what we typically see from villages residential. As fast as they build, we’ll definitely be able to tell in a couple of weeks.

Love to watch your videos and get more informed about this area!!! When we did our lifestyle visit in February this area was mentioned that there "might" be homes built in this area. Does this not have to go through some type of zoning? Does anyone have a link to a website where we can see what is planned for this area? If homes, any ideas on timing? I know some of this might just be a best guess at this point...lol. Thank You!

It just depends on what they get approved. Sometimes they change their mind and have to resubmit plans etc. They definitely don't want to release information until its well curated
