Out of the box, it is very accurate and soft shooting. I never lost sight of the front sight when shooting at 50 yards. Really well made

Walther Arms and Peter Dallhammer, I am very grateful that Dr.Dallhammer and Walther have released the Q4 SF compact variant of the Q5 SF.

I purchased my WALTHER PPQ Q Match 5 SF Champion in January 2021. The Champion is different from the Pro model where the sear is adjustable. Great trigger and well balanced with weight not noticeable at any heavy point on gun. After replacing springs from trigger kit, the pull weight went from 5.5 to 3.5 pounds. Amazing competition gun. No need to adjust the sear for shorter travel yet especially with such a light trigger, it is almost too perfect.

Do you know, how to correct set the trigger?

I just bought the Black Ribbon edition. I am excited to pick it up. I haven't even seen it yet as the shop had to order it. I am sure it will be awesome. :)

I wish they made the grip longer and made the stock mag 18-20 rounds. You would have to buy sf mags specifically for the sf but it would be great to have factory 19/20 round mags that would also work in the smaller guns

Wish they made an all stainless steel option or two tone, like in the picture for this video. SS is beautiful to look at IMO.

They do! It’s called the “”Black Tie”. I seen it on the Walther site last week. It’s a beautiful piece! Expensive, but beautiful

When will the black slide and stainless frame be released?

I think we're going to see more manufacturers returning to steel frames. They can't ignore the popularity of the 1911 and another company is copying the Browning Hi Power.

It needs a paddle mag release. Perhaps they can make a model with it since he said they can do anything with the steel frame!

I also prefer the Paddle Mag Release.

I just bought a Q5 steel frame pro and I am having major failure to eject issues with my competition ammo. It is 130 to 132 power factor and it had failures on two out of 6 stages in my first local IDPA match that I was able to shoot with it today. I upgraded from the polymer frame Q5 That I have been using the last 2 years that has around 20k rounds through it and this has never happened with the polymer gun. In addition to that Walther says that the pro model with the magwell is IDPA approved for ESP and Carry optics but when I weighed it today with the factory mag and a 1.6 oz. SRO the gun is over 47 oz. which makes it illegal for IDPA carry optics. So what I just spent $2000 on, I also bought and installed the dynamic performance trigger, is a paper weight that that will not run competition ammo. With it not making weight I do not even know if it is worth the effort to try and fix the failure to eject with my comp ammo. I love the gun when it operates correctly but if it gets me DQ'd from a major match for weight it will make the 100's of dollars that it cost me to go out of town and shot matches, money down the drain. Please help

My next pistol is going to be a Walther (vall-ter.... Sorry I took German) because they sponsor Steven Crowder and his conservative late night show "Louder with Crowder" ... I recommend y'all check it out. Thanks Walther.

Muito da pistola é uma obra de arte mas só que ela vem para o Brasil custou muito caro deveria ter um preço mais acesso dos atiradores aqui no Brasil por que são os impostos são muitos

Not to hate but I wouldn’t have included a slow motion replay of that horrible recoil control in the beginning of the video My polymer frame Q5 stays dead flat when I shoot it, but then I know how to hold it, my only complaint is the placement of slide lock lever, because I grip mine so high up, when i shoot it I get lock backs a lot

Notice how some ex-military guys like to keep "playing the role (of the ex-military man). while others fit back into society a lot easier. To the point where they don't "look military or ex-". A few have come home and gone bak to school. One sniper (alleged) got his law degree and another a finance degree. Could easily blend in.

Please make the Q4 in SAO with a safety. A trigger is not a safety. You’re far more likely to blow a hole in your own hand or worse than to be in a situation where you don’t have time to disengage a safety. I’m sick of the market and thereby design being driven by cringey macho guys who fantasize about being the good guy with a gun all day. Look at the statistics.

enjoyed it, minus the snobby accent and ignorance about his own gun... (beaver tail)

"snobby accent" Piss off. The guy's not American. He's going to have an accent.
@martelljhixson4 жыл бұрын
The accent isn’t s problem, but I was intrigued by his lack of gun knowledge. I picked up on that as well. He’s probably just a great business person.

Peter Dallhammer is well versed in firearm design and development. He contributed heavily to the development of the P99 and PPQ pistols. He also wrote the book called, “The Textbook of Pistol Technology and Design: Production - Principles - Progress”, which you can find on Amazon.com. He is a gun guy in a gun industry full of posers and golfers.
@IR-xy3ij4 жыл бұрын
Beaver tail is really unnecessary on something like a PPQ, because the grip's contour already acts as one

Wow! English is not Peter D's first language, OR 2nd language for that matter. The German language does not translate easily into English. Many words have NO equivalence, and some have numerous words with similarities, NONE of which accurately convey the TRUE content/definition/intent of the German word. Peter D has written several books on firearm design, and has likely FORGOTTEN more details and info on handgun design/development then most handgun collectors/enthusiasts could ever dream of knowing.
