Bad fandoms always ruin the reputation of what the fandom is based of off...that really ruins a lot of people's plans about that thing because they just go check the fandom before they go check the actual thing first. My recommendation is checking the thing first before checking anything else about that thing.

The worst part about K-Pop stans is that they don’t realize that the bands they worship are quite literally trained in a factory to be K-Pop idles. It’s like actually terrifying.

Sad part is, is that pretty much every fandom has toxicity in some way, shape, or form. No matter what the material is, people will always take things too far and will pretty much idolize anything.

Honestly, every single fandom will ALWAYS have a toxic side. It’s upsetting how the 5-10% of people who are bad are always the loudest and the biggest. The bad people also spread misinformation around so much, it’s almost unbelievable. Take furries for example, a lot of what you said was wrong about them. Yes there is the toxic side to them, but as I mentioned earlier, every fandom has a bad side to it. It’s a shame how this bad side is normally what people look for the most too. Just let people do and like what they want, it really has no impact on the rest of us. (I’m not saying you’re doing anything wrong btw, I completely respect your opinion. And I know you’re not meaning to hurt anyone. Love the content ❤️)

All of those are true, but there are two minor details. 1. You forgot to mention that Tate stans are worshipping a criminal and 2. Anime lovers and weebs call anime stans weeaboos, and it has been like that for years. But overall, it's 100% true on all of them.

In retrospect, the role that bronies have played in internet culture is very odd. They were the internet's Enemy No. 1 for a while, but at the same time, they were a serious creative force. Musicians like WoodenToaster are the prime example. Something that fandom dissenters should get a grasp on is the Law of Truly Large Numbers: As a sample size or population increases, very unlikely events become more common and start seeming statistically significant. There's also the fact that outsiders only pay attention to a fandom when there's a scandal or drama, and very rarely normal and/or positive activity.

It's kinda disappointing to see your favorite fandom that you're in turned into a complete hellhole. I didn't even know there were some new ones I never heard of that are downright stupid. Overall, every fandom has it's flaws and there are some worse than others

My friend makes gacha videos and is very original. Barely any sort of coping but does take ideas from songs and some other videos but other than that, very original. Also, W for the W chain

I got obsessed with mha at age 12 so when I saw the fandom........ I'm 13 and i still haven't gone over the things I've seen

The Murder drone fandom is problematic. When the first few episodes came out, people started shipping characters, (as fandoms do) and a majority wanted these two characters N and Uzi to be together, but then people realized we didn’t have confirmed ages other than Uzi is in high school and N is not. So half the fandom started calling the nuzi shippers p3dos and started doxing the Nuzi shippers. (we later find out Uzi can not be any younger than 17, because all her classmates are around the age of 17-20) the most recent episode came out like 2 months ago, and one of the characters died (not N or Uzi though) so people started sending death threats to the creators of the show, and some people in the fandom even k/lled themselves because of that character. Also before anyone comes after me, I really enjoy the show as well.

I can honestly agree with you. It's ok to be a fan of Andrew Tate, Dream, etc, but stans take it very far. Fanart and edits aren't over the top but dedicating yourself to someone is pretty insane. In my opinion K-pop, MHA, and Dream stans might be the most chaotic people. Fans have a limit and stuff but stans are terrible.

As a Star Wars fan, I can safely say our fandom has improved since the sequels

So there’s this one show, called PRIMAL, and basically, it’s a badass animated show where dinosaurs, Neanderthals, prehistoric mammals & reptiles and early human civilizations, exist in the same world and a specific Neanderthal and T. rex combine forces after some sort of tragedy. This show also has an amazing art style and storytelling, an awesome soundtrack and awesome sound design, with hardcore brutality and no dialog. Anyway, most of you haven’t even heard of it, which is sad, but it’s a show that deserves much more recognition instead of all of the things in this video with all of these dumb stans. Not a Primal stan, but I do genuinely think this show deserves some recognition, more so than some random animes, anti-Semitic rappers, K-pop bullshit, you know

Most fandoms are mostly just normal people. It's the small minority of groups that stan and act like their whole life revolves around the fandom their in. I'm a furry, but I don't go outside walking on all fours or growl at people. People in the fandom I find do that are 99% of the time younger furries (around 14 and below) and once they grow older and become more mature they'll realize that's very weird and cringe. The same goes to most other fandoms out there.
