100. The Haves vs Have Nots was a terrible decision production wise

they didn’t even give them flint at their first tribal like wtf they are trying to kill them

Even though they were have-nots, they still are eligible for this list of worst tribes

not to mention that they put all their energy helping build that camp

Jeff actually didn’t like the twist, the haves vs have nots was a decision by Mark Burnett, not Jeff.

@@airhawkey I know it was Burnett's idea because he was EP of The Apprentice and during the same time that show had a similar twist - one team lived in the apartments, and the other lived in ... I think it was tents outside? Surprise, the team that had better living accommodations did better on the tasks. Even though it wasn't Jeff's idea, he was still railing on the losing tribe each week at tribal. He really sounded like he couldn't understand how the tribe with the worse living conditions weren't doing better.

I think Jeff relies it wasn’t fair and that way he did the bottle thing where the other tribes would have to fortified immunity to say at that camp but it was really unfair because after the swap it was a tribes of all guys and they still was loosing bad

@@gregoryfuller9736 I'm sure Jeff realizes it was unfair, but I'm not so sure if he realized it as it was happening. Because we saw more than once tribal where the "have not" tribe were at tribal and Jeff kept asking them "Come on guys, you keep losing, why is that?" He was really hammering home for that tribe (and the viewers) that they should be able to beat the other tribe, even though they didn't have food and a good shelter. It's as close as the show ever came to having Production put their thumb on one side of the scales to make sure one tribe would continuously beat the other tribe.

@@jhornacek Agreed. Jeff could not be that clueless! The "haves versus have nots" was one of the most unfair Survivor concepts. Its one thing to have more because you've earned more through challenges, but quite different when one team is set up to win while the other must overcome the concept itself. I always feel the same when they suddenly split two larger tribes into three and don't even offer the newest tribe food or fire. That's fine if you started EVERYONE out like that, but each tribe is typically given at least one small bag of rice--even if they must earn fire. Mark Burnett must be some kind of undercover sadist, lol. Not to mention that it was insufferable to watch season 4 pre-merge because the majority of have nots also had the worse personalities and seemed so undeserving of their luxury and advantages. Much like the real world, but we watch Survivor to be entertained not to be reminded how entitlement further corrupts character! What turned this season around for me to making it one of my favorites is that Earl overcame all the rigged disadvantages with masterful game play and took the million from the rest of those entitled bullies. I enjoyed watching the iconic Yaoman, clutzy Boo, and sweetie pie Michelle (aka Monkey). I did not respect Dreamz's irrational and erratic game play, but he certainly made the season far more entertaining to watch. It was delicious when Dreamz and Cassanda aligned with the "have nots" to flip the game after being treated so horribly by their own tribe mates. It was only the winner and story line of the underdogs coming to power that saved this season from its bad concept.

They still count. Yes, they did have an unfair situation compared to Koro, but they are still a bad performing tribe and can make this list.

Ravu got the worst hand in survivor history. One tribe had it all. They had nothing.What do you expect? Worst tribe for me is Fang.

They probably don’t count for this because before when the 3 tribes merged to 2 they were doing ok for themselves but that swap was brutal. The reason they lost so much was because when they tribes were merging into 2 there was a challenge and the other tribe won, and they had the power to choose who would be on their new tribe, so they just picked extremely strong players and sweeped every challenge. Vavau didn’t have a really bad tribe at first, but some game decisions led to their strongest players being voted out which killed their challenge chances

She was not an OG member of Coyopa, but she was swapped into Coyopa that season.

Lairo in terms of the pre merge, yes. However, they did win lots of post merge challenges, which brings them up.

Not true, the video is talking about performance. Peridiam did get Ulong's win rate wrong for it's original members wrong, but it still would not be #1

Technically they went 3/7 in the pre-merge, but yeah, I went and calculated their odds if I treated them like Gota in this video (w/ no swap) - they'd actually rank around the same place as pre-swap Gota (given Tadhana went 1/5 pre-swap, while Gota went 2/8 (or 1/8 if you don't include Brandon's meltdown)). Post-swap Tadhana and post-swap Gota should technically be #10 & 11. When I included Gota at #8 I was cheating. I decided to make an exception with them because it's more fun, slightly overlooking Tadhana. tl;dr - Tadhana should probably be in this video.

in terms of being dysfunctional, yes. In terms of tribe performance, no. Even if we graded on immunity wins, there are still other tribes with zero immunity wins as a tribe.

Mogo Mogo actually did pretty good in terms of performance. It did better than Malakal from Micronesia.
