Thinking there will be one more until Skye ascends - then I might tackle another segment type of Rimworld challenge. I'm thinking of either an "all melee" colonists or an "all negative traits" solo colonist run. The choice is yours!

@@sik3xploit You can actually sort of do that. The Android Tiers mod allows for mind uploading into a blank android body or into an unwilling body donor. It allows for mind duplication, modification, all sorts of horrific and wonderful things.

A word of advice from a Rimworld junkie. Those emitter events can be completed without any fighting at all, if you sneak a colonist up to the emitter itself and break it, you can leave the area by moving all your colonists to the edge of the map, that reforms the caravan without having to fight :) hope you find this cheese useful. (love the vids btw, always immensely entertaining

I did a brawler only playthrough not long ago with the Alpha Animals and Hunt for me mods, intending to do a kind of Beastmaster thing. It honestly got tiring really fast, there's just no good way to take on huge raids that are coming at you with guns, the animals get shot before they reach the raiders and were incredibly tedious to manage, I'd frequently have to resort to giving colonists guns anyways so they'd just be miserable during battles, and I had to use the animals to hunt as well since no one could carry guns around without freaking out so all my animals were always injured and getting killed from like. Deer and stuff. I'm sure there are ways to do it well, but I kind of regret doing a 100% brawler preset bc I liked the colony, I just wish I could play it normally now. Also I lost nearly half my colonists to a MASSIVE scyther only raid, since my colony wealth was so high with all the animals. It was during a toxic fallout too so a lot of them rotted instantly and a few others got burned up, so I couldn't even res them. Still pissed about that.

Rule the world challenge, you get 20 super powered colonist (think fast learner, industrious, burning passion in every catagory) but you have to attempt to kill all the other human factions

You don't even need 20 OP colonists (that is an insane number even not OP), you can do that pretty easily late game or with just a small handful of fairly OP colonists. Remember the nomadic run he did where he had 1 OP colonist go around and take down ancient dangers by himself? Not that hard

You can move your colonists to the edge of a map to leave even if there are enemies on the map to avoid having to fight a whole mechanoid cluster.

At 8:43 although you cannot reform caravan when there are enemies alive you can manually run people to the edge of the map to escape. This does not work when your caravan is ambushed but it does work when you are attacking an enemy base/camp. This can also be used for some extreme cheese strategies as there's a video of one guy taking out a pirate base by constantly running two nonviolent pawns in and out of the tile and having the defenders chase them until collapse from hunger.

You should cover the infestation zone in wood floors or something equally flammable so the fire spreads and just cooks the bugs

Fun fact: You don't have to kill all mechs or enemies in the hostile tile, if you want to immediately reform caravan, take all items you need and lead your colonists to side of the map (green area on edge) and boom! Caravan!

I recommend laying wood floors in a path to burn infestation, keeps you safe and you can ensure you burn a whole section of the base without it spreading to other parts of your base

Dude, you should play with all negative traits, but install the Immortals mod so they cant die, and can cut off the heads of other Immortals (highlander style) and gain new abilities

At my current colony I turned the ancient danger into a trap for the insects. We built a bunch of wooden furniture and incendiary ieds inside of it. When the infestation came that room went over 1000 Fahrenheit

You can actually reform caravans even if there are still enemies on the map, you just have to move the colonists to the green edge of the map manually, and it's quite a bit more inconvenient to carry things with you. absolutely smashing video, and i'm happy more people realize the absolutely SMASHING power of warhammers, amazing job amphibiousambiguan.

EPOE (Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering) adds bionic hands and feet but doesn't go for separate fingers. I know for sure there's another mod which can allow you to replace fingers specifically but don't remember what it was called. Update: it's called Medical System Expansion 2. And if you decide to install EPOE, try the forked version. You can do both MSE2 and EPOE-Forked, they are compatible.

8:49 AA, you can undraft a colonist, have them grab the meals and have the rest of your people just walk out from any edge of the map and you'll be taken to caravan screen.

Hello mr ambiguousamphibian, I would reccomend you take a look at replacing flak jackets with devil strand dusters, devil strand dusters have a similar (or higher?) armour rating compared to flak jackets, but they also cover the legs! Flak jackets do not, somehow. A flak vest + devil strand duster provides good protection mid game or until you can get stronger recon, marine, or cataphract armour and doesnt slow you down like flak jackets do.

My friend, if you have not found it I highly suggest "Rah's Bionics and Surgery Expansion", it allows you to further enhance your colonists to extreme levels. Enhanced bionics, which are almost on par with archotech replacements, synthetic organs, exoskeletons, advanced AI implants, and much more. Your colonists can truly *ascend* to greater heights with it.

Hey, quick tip, even in combat you can reform a caravan, you just need to make all your fighter reach one of the edges of the map so they can leave from there ;)

You can still retreat from encounters without having to reform the caravan - any pawns you move to the very edge of the map will 'retreat' and appear on the world map instead. Any wounded pawns you leave behind are lost though, as are animals.

Idea: full cyborg body purist start. Extra efficiency from being a cyborg, along with constant emotional trauma. Maybe throw in a mindscrew to shake things up. You could call it: TORture/torsad/torsuffering experience.

I'm almost certain AA has heard of the mod but DE Surgeries is good for letting you treat various scars and other medical problems. If you've got the medicine AND the doctors for it, and are willing to roll the dice on a lot of surgery, you can bring someone from the edge of death back to full health by treating all their injuries, infections, scars, even brain scars. But it's not all easy, and you need to have Medical 15 for some of the surgeries.

You dont need to kill al mechs to reform the caravan, just take the pawns to the edge of the map in the green zone and then you can reform it. You'll lose the meals but its worth it in order to avoid "unnecessary" body part losses ;)

you cant just refrom the caravan from the map becuase if you were traped or pinned down or losing you could just insta escape, if you run to the edge of the map you can just leave that way, dont forget to load your colonists inventory first as you wont have that menu when you leave

fyi speech skill is affected by current mood as well as physical pain and ailments so she had a high chance to give a bad speech from all her injuries and low mood.
