I’m the one who’s mum had a dream y’all 🤦🏾♀️. After my boyfriend reserved a table for us at this expensive restaurant, and wanted us to fly out my mum said she had a dream so I couldn’t go out or travel. I locked myself in the room and cried for three days 😂. African parents will stress you .

We went out for date night and he told me not to touch the popcorn because his mum still wasnt there.. He never told me mum was coming to our valentines date. Needless to say, the mother started getting jealous of her son dating me and it ended up causing us to end things as we didnt agree on the amount of involvement his mother should have on our date nights...

I asked my husband if we could have a date for valentines (weekend after because we both work) because I want an excuse to wear heels and a great dress. He already knows about the lingerie I ordered 🤣. Valentines isn't really a thing for me, but every once in a while, I want to dress to the nines since I can't really wear heels while bartending.
