My first trip hunting for a long time. Very dry out West ATM but we did get onto some good pigs/hogs with some good footage. For Olight in Australia go to www.olightstore.com.au/

Excellent video again Stu. Great work getting that cat, I don't suppose it put up much resistance to the 30.30 or the 30.06. "That was a good shot.". Yep. My mates from Sydney are here for awhile, we're having a ball. In June when it's cooler I'm coming to NSW to visit them and fish and hunt. If you've got the time I'd like to come out with you for a day. Whether I get to shoot or not I'll run the camera for you. Something I've got a lot of experience with. I'll get all permitted up hunt, whether I hunt with you or not. I was going to ask about cats and you even got one! Bravo! I found out I don't even need a hunting license if cats are all I'm going to shoot. But, I'm going for roo, pig and cat. So I'm getting all permitted. I love 30-30, we had the Winchester and it was a "one shot sure drop." Enjoying every video you do. Good to see you back.

Hey mate, felt like a decade from your last upload haha. One question I've always wanted to ask. Is your freezer chokkas full of pork?
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support mate, yes it was a while as I missed a hunt late last year and had no new stuff so I was hanging to get out. Unfortunately the pigs in this area carry a disease called Liptoschlerosis (spelling) which is a blood borne disease harmful to humans. The farmer is keen for us to concentrate on thinning numbers and not stopping to butcher etc.
@ryanlehtonen10995 жыл бұрын
@@HuntingwithStu you seem to be the only KZfaqr that actively responds which means alot for all of us that enjoy your channel. I guess that would make them a not so enjoyable meal then hey haha, I went out for my first time pig shooting not too long ago and luckily for us they weren't contaminated and I tell you what no pork to date has come close to how good wild pork tastes
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
@@ryanlehtonen1099 Thanks mate yes I try and reply to all comments. Yes wild pork is tasty and here in Australia there is a big export industry mainly exporting to Germany.

Good trade on the old quad for the Isuzu mate!
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
Ha, still use the old battle axe quad mate. More clips to follow with it soon. However, I did 3 x suspension struts on this last trip so it might be her last outing.

Wow. So Stu is mortal after all! (Well, as far as the pigs care, he's the god of death, but still...) On an unrelated note, when I got to 10:30, I got to wondering just how spectacular the sunsets could be out there. Any chance you could take a few shots for us between hogs?
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate yes I should do some sunsets, however, that part of the clip was sunrise mate
@somerandombaldguy52965 жыл бұрын
@@HuntingwithStu So is everything backward in Oz or just us Americans? Sunrise or sunset, it's all good. I tip my hat to your dedication, being up before daybreak to do the locals a favor and show us some outstanding shooting. Thanks again!

Would you use a 223 on pigs if so what grain cheers
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
Yes mate the 223 is good on pigs not sure on a grain size projectile though. Just remember that a 223 won't penetrate a clay crusted boar if it is dry as it is like shooting a wall. 223s blow up on this part of the hide. Head shots are the go.
