We embarked on a voyage to Rio Dulce, Guatemala, a safe harbor widely recognized as a hurricane hole in the Caribbean sea. Our journey led us to some extraordinary sailors who are making a difference in the Guatemalan community in many ways. One particular story stood out - a visit to a shelter for young girls who were abused from a young age and now seek refuge with their babies. We felt compelled to capture their story on film, to shed light on a heartbreaking reality and showcase the strength and beauty of these young women. This video marks a turning point for our channel, as we tackle important subjects and hope to inspire others with the remarkable resilience and courage we witnessed. This was beautiful, thank you for sharing these stories, as someone who lives in Guatemala I can say a lot of children are not living the way they should, instead of doing the basic things kids do like playing and going to school, a lot of guatemalan girls and boys work to get some money and it's sad because some parents just don't want to receive any help from people like you or me. I was surprised when I saw you came to my town Poptún, thank you for showing the world those stories.
