We embarked on a voyage to Rio Dulce, Guatemala, a safe harbor widely recognized as a hurricane hole in the Caribbean sea. Our journey led us to some extraordinary sailors who are making a difference in the Guatemalan community in many ways. One particular story stood out - a visit to a shelter for young girls who were abused from a young age and now seek refuge with their babies. We felt compelled to capture their story on film, to shed light on a heartbreaking reality and showcase the strength and beauty of these young women. This video marks a turning point for our channel, as we tackle important subjects and hope to inspire others with the remarkable resilience and courage we witnessed. We look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments section below.
Thanks a lot to Joanne, Bill, Sheldon and Pam for sharing their stories with us!
