Both at same time true. Have seen empty beer keg and basket to be used as instrument. Though weirdest musical instrument so far has to be ring binder, being shoved own box.

Fun facts: The kid at the start and end of the video flew from England just to be in it All the extras are just fans who turned up The house is a fans who was planning to redevelop it and let them smash it up - it cost the record company $50k in damages Its an ace song - a little commercial but catchy!

If I remember right when they recorded this Corey had damaged his voice from the second album and had to change his style to this. By the time the 4th album rolled around he relearned how to do his original screams in a healthy way, someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Also, I’ve seen Slipknot 5 times live and each time Clown has lit that baseball bat on fire and it’s amazing to watch him beat the crap out of that keg 😁

Correct. He got vocal lessons with Melissa Cross to change his style. The screaming on the first two albums was not sustainable long term. Lots of people complain about the change in style, but there are reasons behind that. Numerous vocalists have fallen into this trap and had to readjust (Matt Heafy, Jesse Leach, Matt Shadows, etc).

@@sammiebray1661 Yea Matt Heafy had big problems with his voice, In an interview with Loudwire (I think it was Loudwire) he basically said that when the band was coming together he was the youngest and they couldn't find a vocalist so all the other members who were all older than Matt said "Matt you do vocals" and so he did... But he had no idea how to do it and from that moment he was kind of doomed. As mentioned above though, he got it sorted and he's golden now!

I remember when the open invitation to be in this video was issued. Being from Kansas, I was very tempted to go since Des Moines Iowa is only about a 6.5 hour drive away. I kinda regret not going.

After I first heard this song when I was younger, I knew then and there I had to find out more about this band. Corey and the band always wanted people to love the music for what it was. Even when record labels told them they never make it, well they proved them all wrong. This is why I went out of my way to make sure I have a drum skin with the whole band signed on to it (including Paul and Joey). I always look at it and remind myself that you can always achieve things in life if you work for it.

this is the only song of theirs that will make me cry, I'm wiping the tears off my eyes and keyboard typing this, this song in particular saved my life on numerous occasions just from the sheer pain i was in, all of their songs have a meaning that i can pull from my miserable existence on this earth and i can never thank this band enough for getting me through the darkest of nights and the most torturous of days. I would not be here had a friend of mine not turned me on to this band. I appreciate you saying that you would love someone like me who could never deserve your presence. You are loved by me and the entire maggot army!

The house belongs to a fan and the crowd rushing the house is made up of fans. The house owner was reimbursed for some of the damage, but the house was already being renovated.

They actually put out a NEWSPAPER ad for this. They bought a house and intended to destroy it. That was the sight for the music video. This is the berry that came from it.
