"Fun" sounding song as long as you dont pay attention to the meaning. Like a lot of S.O.A.D songs, B.Y.O.B. has very real subject matter that deserves to be appreciated on a Serious level also.

Great reaction. The song is Bring Your Own Bombs. The song/video is making a statement on bombs being dropped and wars going on… but everyone else is just partying. They have a nice dance-y part, scantily clad people dancing, great times… then BAM! “Where the fuck are you?!” Because “we don’t live in a fascist nation.” 👀 The dance part is super catchy though. They made it too good. 😂 Also, excellent break down on the military recruitment. I think we spend over $750 billion dollars on our defense budget. Which goes to corporations who make guns and bombs, yes, those same corporate so and so’s who take part in our government, or at least contribute heavily to our politicians. Wars need tending to, bombs need to be made, soldiers need to be trained, otherwise that $750 billion dollars in taxes doesn’t make sense to the American people. How do we convince people who to join the military when they have everything?? Target the people who don’t have everything. Make up some villains. Scare some people. Okay. Rant over.

Definitely take a dive into the meaning of their songs. Some of them sound like complete nonsense but it’s really word play and has a message.

system of a down is one of the best bands to ever exist. insane instrumentals all around, guitar bass drums, and vocals are next level. between serj and daron, their voices mix and harmonize so damn well. I recommend spiders or prison song, but they really don't have a bad track. Their music ranges a ton(I’m sure you’ve seen the differences in chop suey and BYOB)so you have to listen to a lot of their songs to get a good feel for the band. also it's sad that many of their lyrics are still super relevant. they touch on many heavy issues and these songs were made decades ago. hope to see more soad on your channel soon!

B.Y.O.B stood for Bring Your Own Bombs. Another great anti-war song they did is called Boom. The video was shot at the February 15. 2003 Anti-War protest, millions of people marched in 600 cities all over the world in protest of the United States' imminent invasion of Iraq. This is my favorite SOAD song ever.

I love the pretty section in the bridge about wars in the Middle East over oil. Super catchy. And devastating. Currently SOAD, Disturbed, and Gorillaz are my top 3 bands I regret haven’t seen live yet that I 100% should’ve but WILL. I’m seeing Gorillaz in September in Boston at Fenway Park. That show gonna go crazy. AC/DC would be #1 but there’s no hope of that happening anymore.

My favorite SoaD song. Hot take: I wish they would've kept the chorus with just Serj, instead of bringing in Daron in the second part. Serj's part is so nice. I guess you could say it's......Mezmerizing. 😏 ('Mezmerize' is the name of the album it's on) Also, I like that you decided to go with 'Whatever the quack I want' from now on! Edit: I just remembered that I lied. 'Old School Hollywood' is my favorite SoaD song. It's from the same album as 'BYOB.'
