There have been hundreds of performers of this song since 1976, but not one has any vocal data to perform it like Dimash did! Maestro Michel Berger, for sure, would have been happy if it was such a performer who would have come to him for an audition - all the notes were effortlessly taken, and how much strength and tenderness in this performance, what actor’s presentation of each line exactly according to the content of the song. "S.O.S." Dimasha, like a scarf with a magical aroma, flying over the square in the "Perfumer" - one wave and everyone is fascinated! The tone is incredible, penetrating the very heart!

You know, being a bit obsessed with Dimash, I've watched every single professional vocalist on KZfaq analyzing him and you are probably the only one (that at least I can remember) that went back to listen to the song twice. And what's really nice is that I don't think you initially intended to do so, but the song kind of drag you in it. The second time around you really seemed to absorb every single musical phrase of it and it's a great thing to see, because apart from a technical analysis, this is such a beautifully executed song that captivates us and it's really nice to see a professional singer wanting to listen to this just for the joy of listening it and not just to analyze it!! A great reaction, thank you so much!! I'm really looking forward for your analysis on his "Sinful Passion". I'm sure you will love it!!

Отдельное удовольствие и наслаждение, следить за реакцией, глазами и лицом Элизабет, за её языком жестов, искренней радостью, от полученного шоу. He's the most physically gifted singer I've ever heard. The most accurate singer I've ever heard. The most emotive singer (in voice and in presentation) I've ever heard. The most versatile singer I've ever heard. He has more facility with his instrument than any singer I've ever heard. Now, I admit I have a narrow sample size, but I can't imagine anyone doing all the things he does as well as -- much less better than -- he does.

MY REVIEW OF REACTIONS TO DIMASH AS A SINGER The Stage settings and lightings superbly done. Full orchestra with harp, violins, flutes, piano and backup chorus. Every musical instrument is in perfect harmony with his voice and body movements. His mesmerising facial expressions; his darting penetrating eyes; flirty smiles and his timely hands movements gracing every song as if he is the conductor of the entire orchestra. The famous composer and musician, Igor Krutoy with his fingers on the piano, awaits for cues from Dimash voice and every move and he harmoniously weaves them in one swoop of magical unity. Dimash is the music and he is the song. His emotive interpretation of the lyrics of the songs touches all hearts and souls. His passionate endearing angelic crisp and lingering voice; his stage presence, takes you to a higher level, a melodic dramatic journey from 'so in the moment' to places far yonder. He totally owns the stage, spell binding the audience including vocal coaches of the world. Despite language barriers, the expressive power of his voice moved them to tears. His body, hand and subtle finger movements; his sharp penetrating darting eyes seeking perfection; the smooth alluring mixture of tones and registers of the songs leave adoring frenzy fans in a state of amazement/ stupor/ shook-up and trying hard to shake off the recurring goose bumps and shivers. His smooth to and fro transitions from the lowest register male baritone to the highest female suprano hitting E6 octave goes beyond the piano scale. He modified the original songs and accentuate their beauty. His outstanding voice flows into vocal fry, bass, baritone, tenor to suprano, operatic, head and chest voice, crescendo, verbrato, whistle and resonance. Name it and he mixes them with breathy pop, R&B, rock, and counter tenor. He pegs his body firmly to the ground bending slightly forward, locking his knees as he belts out the song with total extended breath control defying logic. Voice coaches awed by the perfection of his delivery and his stage presence, trying hard to explain the higher meanings of Dimash voice and his every move. Dimash can smoothly sustain the pitch of any octave without a glitch. At times, it's as if 8 people are singing in tendem for one song. Totally gifted. Some called him an alien of the highest order, a visitor from outer space or galaxy. He sings the humanly impossible song 'The Diva Dance Song' live and undigitalized as compared to the movie, The Fifth Element singing the same song but digitalised to compensate for the difficult high octaves. This 25 years old singer from Kazakhstan plays 12 instruments and sings in 10 languages. He revolutionises music genre, with fantastic singing registers, mixing them up, defying and subtly blurring octaves definitions. OMG I've seen 10 reactions to this song but now having the subtitles to what he is singing makes so much sense for his passion and the way he attacks something then falls off to others to make you feel what the person is trying to portray in the song. The Slavic Bazaar version has cleaner pronounciation and stronger bottom end in the rising pitch part at the beginning of the piece. However I find the chinese Singer version to be much more interesting and emotive with some effects rarely repeated in later performances.

Listen to the last phrase on the Singer version as I feel it’s far better with the small crescendo and decrescendo (if that’s the right term) incorporated in it.

I always felt this version was a little over produced. Almost sounds kinda autotuny. I know that's not an actual word, but I get that vibe from it. We all know he doesn't need it, but it just sounds like it in some places.

@@randywissler9923 Over produced is a good word I think. The "Singer" version felt more live/raw yet still extremely polished vocally, and I think the live backing music was way better on the "Singer".

When I first listen this song by Dimash, I keep listen for a week, and dig the original singer to compare, and after that I dig every Dimash song, and I like them all, his Kazk song is really good, and I don't understand what he is singing but very touching . Stevei Wonder song" Sir Duke" is very true, music is a world within it's self, Love Dimash, love your reaction, thanks.

Hello Elizabeth........I've been waiting and hoping for a new Dimash reaction from you. The one that I would love to see the most is "The Story of One Sky". It's a short movie that took him 3 years to write....both music and script!! It is the most amazing work of art and his gift to the world. I highly recommend you listen to the "Singer" version of this performance on your own to hear the different choices and colors/textures he used in that performance which for me is my favorite version. Also the ending for me was better as well.

Hello Elizabeth, greetings from Dallas, Texas. Love your reactions. And believe me I have seen a lot of different coaches reacting to Dimash. You have one of the best. At least you know what you are talking about. So many people think they are Vocal Coaches these days, but don't have a clue what they are talking about. Dimash is one of a kind. I love the guy. Once you hear him sing you can't stop. Especially when he and Igor Krutoy started collaborating. Dimash is one of those singers that 20 yrs. from now someone will say, Hey this new guy sings pretty good. Then the other guy says , Oh! you mean like Dimash?
