I grew up eating canned peas. So I thought peas were disgusting. Then I ate frozen peas lightly steamed. Now they are one of my favorite veggies.

I store sliced or chopped bell pepper in a tightly closed mason jar. It keeps very well in the fridge for much longer than in the fridge vegetable crisper. It’s always ready to be used.

You are so right about all the packages getting smaller but the prices going up. And YES, I am fussing. It's pretty sad actually. Anyway, the meatloaf is awesome looking. That is my very favorite meal. And meatloaf sandwiches are the best too. God's blessings always......🥰🥰🥰

I am also among those who does not choose to eat meatloaf when eating out as I have had too many unpleasant experiences. For many years, I followed the same tried, and true recipe. About three years ago, I tried the Stovetop Stuffing Meatloaf Recipe, and it has become my go to recipe for meatloaf at 90-percent of the time.

Hey Leslie your opening reminded me of Hee Haw when they yell" Hey grandpa whats for supper" and he proceeds to name off everything hes fixing...i loved that show growing up..i fix meatloaf just like my mom did and everyone seems to love it, and of course cold sandwiches the next day...i always mix ketchup with a little maple syrup to spread on top..makes it really delicious...it was good to see those cute little grandsons of yours even for a second...😘❤🙏

My husband had never tried meatloaf before we met. My mom made it about once a month but he wouldn't eat any if he happened to be there. When we married I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes and I convinced him to try a bite and boy did he love it! He asked for it once a week. He also would order meatloaf at restaurants but always said it just wasn't as good as our homemade. I've heard some people say they're put off by the name meat loaf. I always tell them, try it! You'll like it!

For safety, place the meatloaf pan on a small baking sheet (like a 1/4 sheet pan) to keep from grabbing those handles! There's no reason you can't add everything to the bowl before you mess up your hands mixing it. If you want to break up the meat 1st, add it on top and then work your way down! The stand mixer does a great job mixing it, too.

Try taco meatloaf 3lbs hamburger, 1egg scrambled,1/2 cup sour creme, 1 cup picodegio. Cook at350 for l hr . Yum

Love that lazy Susan in your cupboard....wish I had one....so many things get lost in the back of cupboards...lol. Those are the only green peas I'll eat...that brand you have. Tell Bryant that peas aren't dog ticks....corn on the cob is more like dog ticks....lol. Yep, everything is less for more for sure. Those boys are adorable. Great pan.....where did you get it? Wonderful comfort meal.. meat loaf looked delicious Leslie I made your cranberry oatmeal cookies with monk fruit and light sugar and unsweetened applesauce for fat and they turned out delicious a little soft but really good! I gotta get one of those pans .

I love meatloaf and meatloaf sandwiches. My mom made a meatloaf every Sunday for 15 years just for my dad to have for sandwiches to take to work thru the week. When daddy retired my mom said she would never make another one 😂. She did though because that was what we always requested. After my mom passed away daddy started making them.

I love Meat loaf My Sisters meat loaf is the only one I eat and it’s delicious But your meatloaf Leslie looked delicious too I love stewed potatoes my Grandma always fixed them and she would put some bacon grease in them and sometimes cabbage good country ratting! ✍Hello Leslie... My mom always washed out or wiped out our pots or pans before using them. You're the first person besides her that did that. ha ha ha...I don't want anything left in or on my sink before going to bed. Leslie I was taught in Jr high Home Mech. Class that ground beef...80-20 was ground beef and anything under that was hamburger 70-30 Oh Leslie that is the only brand of peas "Le petite seur" that me and my family and son-in-law will eat. They've gone from 1.89 a can to 2.89 a can but I don't care they're delicious. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas is the best home cooked meal 💖 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from Ohio🌹

That is the way I am with meatloaf. I always heard my hubby say he did not like meatloaf because he would not eat his moms. I was so hungry one day for it, i made it and he eat almost all of it. I asked him what gives, thought you did not like meatloaf. he said he did not. But he loves mine because it is juicy and moist. He also liked the texture of mine. Well, I was shocked, as a new wife of just a couple of years, I did not know what to think. Now still 36 years later it is still one of his favorite meals.

There are so many ways to make meatloaf. I add lipton onion soup mix and sweet hot pepper jelly (half the jar in the meatloaf and the other half goes on top.)

I have gotten use to using the hints can meatloaf sauce with oatmeal but feel I need to add more oatmeal. We love the flavor. And I top with ketchup close to the end. Also have a recipe that has a mustard ketchup brown sugar that you top every 15 minutes and the last 15 you add cooked noodles and toss them around in the drippings. Haven’t had that in years. Ordering me the pan today. I usually shape mine out in 3 loaves but love this and will do better for sandwiches. Asked hubby about meatloaf this evening but he asked for spaghetti!

We don’t order meatloaf out either. It taste the best at home. I didn’t grow up eating sweet peas. Neither set of grandparents grew them. I don’t like them either. I do like baby green limas, and Dixie Lee peas. I will eat field peas and black eye peas with apple cider vinegar in them. 😂

Looks good i am 68 and been keto now carnivore for almost three years . We are having cube steaks in keto gravy and I will just take out the cube steak and eat that and hubby will eat the gravy and mashed potatoes he is not keto . Yesterday I had a rib eye steak and some keto chow fudge

I make my meatloaf the same except I add garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce to mine. I also only eat my meatloaf and chili and deviled eggs. I don’t eat anything spicy, I’m allergic to the capsaicin in hot peppers.

Awe, same here. I live in Los Angeles and "gimme the salsa"!!! ... I pay for it later. Too much acidity, then I get weak and my kidneys hurt. Took me years to realize what was wrong and what was causing it.

I love meat loaf.. I make it different ways I love my Italian meatloaf. You do your meatloaf how you like then flatten it out a bit not thin and then put some sliced ham on top of the hamburger them mozzarella cheese (can use any cheese you like) then roll as tight as you can then pinch your ends.... it's really good can put tomato soup on the top if you like.... I love leisure peas...I could eat them from the can... a meatloaf sandwich is so good the next day... y'all have a blessed night🙏🙏♥️♥️😃

I call those green peas China berries. My grandmother had a China berry tree and the berries were green and looked like those peas. Like Bryant I don’t eat them either!

"Stash" means something stored in a specified place. My use of the term and the actual definition has nothing to do with Marijuana. But I'm can see how that term would fit that situation.
