Youngest in a family of 5 siblings divorced parents and moved all my life. Havnt connected with many people due to all these factors nor been really import to anyone but my immediate family I created. Stuck being yelled at at a low paying 50k graphic designer role and over worked. Wondering if theres a way out for me. I'm understanding everyone has a voice and if you don't jump out there in the spotlight you literally don't exsist and you will cease to exist in a cubicle of a low paying high demand role and build and own nothing. I have to join and be present in social media and find what I have to offer. Thanks for the encouragement Guys it's life changing for some of us. 👊🏾

I hear you, it's tough out there for a lot of us. Try telling your story more on social media, building up a community of your own may be the way for you to have an exit strategy and eventually replace your income, or at least give you some options.

Thumbnails! With your graphic design skills,you could easily offer reviews of thumbnails and coaching for those creators (like me) who are techies, but "artistically challenged " Targeting those tech channels that up and coming would be a potential starting place. My thumbs have got better, and I'm excited about the new test and compare feature, but I've yet to find videos that spell out things like color theory air the artistically challenged. Just a thought. Good luck.

@@thefutur But somone somewhere at the end of the rope still has to do a job for all this chain of attentoin to be worthwhile. Nobody is watching this because the world has run out of fun things to do. everyone is watching to gain by standing on others. but there is that one layer of people that still have to do a paying job working for some ungrateful narcissistic a-hole.

My suggestion would be to get a gym membership and green juice bc what you consume controls your thoughts. Next make business cards and network- meetups convention create a bank account just for that freelance $$$. Do not touch it build it up then invest in personal development and stocks etc. When you have enough $$$ and momentum Leave and seek a the futur Always have a exit plan or they will X you 💪💪

Soon, the number of content creators will surpass that of listeners. Authenticity may become scarce as many will present contrived setups filled with layers of pseudo-wisdom, quotes, and excerpts from various intellectuals, creating a cycle of repetition. Everyone is a leader, public speaker, expert, top voice, can help you achieve x to 10x, a guru, educator etc.
@thefutur
@thefutur 26 күн бұрын
we have a long way to go before the number of creators exceed the number of listeners. case in point. Less than 1% of people who are on Linkedin post a single piece of content.
@mikhilsaluja7062
@mikhilsaluja7062 26 күн бұрын
@@thefutur Thanks for your reply! I appreciate it. My point is that authentic, experienced professionals give valuable advice, but now everyone is an "entrepreneur" or rather "solopreneur" claiming to be an expert from their 5 start ups. A lot of LinkedIn content creators just tweak the same ideas and rephrase it. I think credibility from real-life achievements is crucial before claiming expertise. For example, Chris's work with experience of consulting with big brands adds weight to his advice. But in general, others still have a lot of repetitive content out there. And it's worrying when people in their 20s or early 30s start calling themselves experts and educators. There used to be a reason why becoming a teacher was tough, even at a mediocre university. Guessing there is a reason why there is a rise of "self-help," "self-care," and "grow X million followers in Y days" books, people and topics. Cause maybe people today are more vulnerable, often dealing with low self-esteem, increased stress, and anxiety. The ease of becoming an entrepreneur adds to this pressure. There's a strong desire for personal growth and improvement, making us more impressionable and eager for quick fixes.

Big thanks to my Zen Master Chris Do for discussing architecture-it’s my first time hearing him talk about it, and I really appreciate it. The tips you gave about the three Fs are very important, and I plan to incorporate them into our new branding reels for our architectural studio. I would love to see more videos from you about creative opportunities for architects like me, with 20 years of experience working globally and a passion for teaching young kids about architecture and the business side of it. I closely follow your videos on pricing, creativity, and negotiating with clients, and I see a huge potential for creating content about the business of architecture.

@@thefutur And, I'm not trying to be contrarian. I love amazing sound engineering and design in music and movies. I'll never forget the sound in the movie ‘Interstellar;’ I left the theater feeling like I just did a workout because my muscles were sore from being tensed up and clenching the armrests. It was epic! And, on the flipside, there's a move called ‘Zone of Interest’ where they focused on using everyday sounds, room echoes, and silence instead of the warmer sound techniques you see in most movies. It drove the point of the movie home in a much more chilling way. But alas, in the end, these moveis the got the effect they wanted by using sound, regardless of how processed it was or wasn't. I'll step off my soapbox now 🤣

6 years ago i made this stoopid video in my channel. 0 subs. for fun. i was inspired by a lot of people for making the same thing. i have no idea about video editing so it's just that and this. but never thought i managed to get this much of views with only 1 video. tho i don't plan to monetize nor becoming a creator, yet. and i think i know the reason why my video is standout than the others maybe it's the storytelling. i changed the actual story and edited it to make a different story using the same material. like you said there are people born with talent but they don't fully utilize that ability. and i think i'm that person. maybe i'm too scared to starting off. if i want to start to become a creator. with so many are in the same industry is it better to change or to stay in the same industry and improving it?
