Don't compare your chapter 1 to Chris's chapter 10. Be at your chapter now and make your own way through like he did, there's no shortcuts. The transitions are the hardest and highly contextual to you which can't be covered by rules or advice. Don't be hard on yourself, resolve.

Very well said. Just because there's a vast amount of knowledge on the internet doesn't mean we'll arrive at our goal any quicker. Learning these things takes time as we apply them in real life.

You know what's funny Chris, ever since I became an entrepreneur I have these "dark days" every now and then. But you know what lifts me up EVERY SINGLE TIME? First I turn to God and back to real honest prayer. The next day I stumble upon one of your videos. Like this for example. Every time! You have something man, I can't describe it, but your style, voice, advice... they just lift me up and it feels like I have found new motivation. I've said to my friend so many times: Thank Christ for Chris Do and his team.

4 years of university and never was anything put across so concisely, I'm in Zimbabwe, running my own agency business, just 2 years after university and the skills Chris is sharing have enabled me to create some wonderful systems and processes, so I'm still developing and learning but my clients value me as a professional and someone who knows what his doing 😄😄😄😄 and it's all from learning intricate things boiled down to simple nuggets by Chris. Thank you Chris.

It's interesting to think about focusing on investing into yourself. It's nice to have a goal like that, to invest into yourself until your market value growth slows down, comparable to how much you're putting in. It's kind of hard to know what makes sense to invest in long term, so this is very practical and clearly defined goal. I like clarity. Small things like this can save years of my life. I've been through unclear life goals - not fun. I think you really have to know your stuff and have some contacts to start an agency. When you're competing with cheap labor market from Asia, you need to be more sure that you can deliver.

Focus is surely the hardest thing to do. It's very tempting to do everything to achieve so much in a short-time. In reality, its spreading yourself out thin that you end up achieving close to nothing.

Thanks for covering the issue of money. If I could have my way, I'd just make things and never have to talk about it. But like you said, when we don't talk about money, it becomes this anxiety inducing thing that creates problems. Using the bracketing/range strategy to talk about price is really helpful :) I literally need the words to say when talking to clients because it doesn't come naturally to me

Oh boy dat was SOLID! After 12 years working way more than I would like as a solo-dev-preneur, I knew i had to improve my delegation skills and have been working on it, but the money-talk was an eye opener for me, I've done that before (price brackets), but I never Actually realized the psychological effect and how this can be effectively used until now. I've been learning those concepts the hard way so I have total respect and appreciation for what you are doing here Chris, Big Thank You for sharing your knowledge with us!

Every time I've heard you talk about price bracketing, I've always heard you teach us to say the bigger number first. This video taught me there can be an inverse, which I can use in certain instances where I'm unsure of bopping up my rates. Rule of thumb though is to use a very comfortable price as the lowest so that even though the client thinks they got a bargain, I get a very comfortable pay.
