CORRECTION: At 4:08 I say that the G-Track Pro has a frequency response of 120kHz. This should be 20kHz. 120kHz is FAAAAAR outside the range of human hearing. Stupid Patrick. 🤦‍♂️

I thought I heard him say that? nah I'm hearing things. Actually Piezo Transducers function at that range. Ultrasound Medical Imaging is one example.

Superb review. I have a number of USB mics, including the most popular ones. None compare to the amazing quality of the Samson G-Track Pro though, including the Blue Yeti and the Rode NT-USB. If I had the choice of keeping just one of my USB mics, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I'd go with the Samson G-Track Pro.

I use the Samson G-Track Pro, for my voice over work and this microphone works perfectly for me. but a soundproof studio is recommended.

Yes, it has better sound quality than the Blue Yeti. More expensive though.

Hi Patrick, fantastic review and totally convinced me to go out and buy this as I’ve always wanted to own a USB microphone. So just a question, will this mic work seamlessly with GarageBand in iOS providing I use the USB 3 adapter? Cheers mate 🙂

I've been having issues using it on iPad iOS with the USB C OTG adapter. For some reason GarageBand iOS won't recognize my input. I'm hoping I can get some help as well.

I've recorded my electric guitar via instrument input and the sound is very lacking and not smooth as I heard on the monitor headphone. I don't really know how to solve it. BTW I connected the mic directly to the phone and used the bandlab app, do you think that cause of this problem?

I own one and its beautiful to its portability and small screen. Other than that audio is nothing in comparison to the Gtrack Pro and I just got it yesterday. Price difference is just 55 dollars. The Zoom H1n is not cheap too. Go for the Gtrack Pro.

@@spacefreedom I am a voiceover artist and I am more concerned with audio quality especially if you want your ad to sell. Listening to my old ads in the Zoom H1n hhhhh made me cry. LOL

Yes, you can connect anything if it has a 1/4 inch jack. You will probably need an adapter as most mp3 have a 3.5mm jack

@@RESURRECT2 audio you can get with cheaper stuff but the g track pro is the best for the price. For that high quality 1 inch diaphragm and that will work best if you dont have noise cars outside noise. Else, get a dynamic mic. Which will sound like crap but...
