I just ghosted a breadcrumber. He didn't take more than a few mins to ever text me back but if I didn't text him it would take him 2-3 weeks to reach out. I just got sick of it. Don't let it go on too long ladies. And do NOT be afraid to ask what his intentions are cause Jack is right and they will tell you so listen!

I tend to dismiss bread crumblers early on now. I love the “how low maintenance you are” statement. I’m VERY playful in general, so this idea speaks to me.

First solution doesn’t work. Playing chess or games in the second solution also doesn’t work bc it only takes more time to end that toxic relationship. Most psychopaths love it. Third solution is the best: directly asking. Be assertive! And it is doesn’t matter if this is a very “unfeminine” way but showing clearly limits. The outcome then is mostly then a very quick ending. But better a quick ending and missing “tthe toxic train” than to suffering a long torture of uncertainty. Thank you for the third solution! ❤

Glad 3 was working for you. Curious why the psychopath reference, given it’s such a super small % of the population?

Postage chess is true (phone too); Fact is we have time for things that are important, whether a boyfriend or other friends. I've flat out nicely told people lack of/long breaks in communication w/o heads up doesn't work for me as hurtful...not one person owns it/takes responsibility/cares/makes a better effort. That tells me their character & motive, I move on. I have to say most men love to play games, which I find immature & tiring. Great ideas Jack thanks 😊😅

My sense was that that style of playfulness may come across as sarcasm or passive aggressiveness..

I imagine the more important thing may be what it actually is Vs how it comes across? Also if you are unused to doing this, it may feel more ‘aggressive’ to you than it objectively is

Great segment, Jack. Ive tried mirroring the time I get back a text. It works. I end up feeling guilty. But that's me. Then I constantly remind myself "two can play at that game." When you are an invested type of person, though, it does make you feel that you are having to resort to their irresponsible level. Thanks, Jack.

I hear you. I think I know the experience you are referring to. It may serve not to assume it’s irresponsible - it could be authentic or true to their level of interest?

Why are you even waisting your valuable time. All these time games will only wear down your spirit and that energy could be spent on bigger ideals.
