Want to install a Torqeedo Ultralight 1103AC on a Hobie Pro Angler? Want to also mount a power pole micro on the stern? Want to be able to switch from the Mirage Drive to Foot Control Steering of the 3 HP electric outboard and back again without stopping? Want to move at 6 mph between fishing spots? Love the power of this motor, but man I wish it was 5-6" closer to the kayak in the back and didn't have that huge ass bulky throttle control.

The adapter for the Power Pole is what puts it so far back. You can go without it and it’s closer by a lot. I like the throttle tucked in tight and low at the corner of the seat.

It’s not been my boat to have the hindsight, but I’ve done this installation about 8 times and each one gets better.

We did that one in the IkeLive shop. I’ve done them at dozens of paddle shops over the last several years. Where do you live? Maybe I can find a shop where I have trained someone how to do this specific install.
